Low block...Long Ball. Slot won't learn...not a criticism but he should know the lesser teams are going to play this way against us all season long

He went in with both legs, missed the ball and the trailing leg caught Macca (?) the second one was wild. If you're going to fly in with 2 legs all the time and missed the ball, its a lottery ticket

Kinda absurd how we lost this, player that scored should have been sent off just a minute earlier, but also after getting tackled Tsimikas wasn't allowed on the pitch right away so it was us that were a man less for their goal, had we had Kostas to cover on the left where the goal came from they might not have scored. Instead of them having a man less it was us, and the very player that should have been sent off scored. Ridiculous.

Having said that we still played a bad game. We looked half asleep. We were sloppy and looked leggy. A rare bad game from Gravenberch I thought and Macca wasn't his best either. Salah annonymous. Virgil was the only one who had a good game I thought. Didn't we score 6 goals against these just a short while ago?

I still think the first yellow on Bergvall was harsh but by the rules of the game he should have had a second and been gone from the pitch. Have to be honest about that. I also think Solanke brushed Konate off far too easily. That was poor from Ibou.

The worrying thing is the number of goals we're conceding lately. Two against the Filth, an easy one tonight, three against this lot last time we played them. And we've got Forest and Brentford coming up who only go one direction. That's gonna pile pressure on a nervous defence. No idea when Gomez is back. Ibou looks rusty. Quansah gives me the squits when he plays. TAA is who knows where with his thinking. Robbo is on the wane. And god only knows what Ali was at tonight with that fluffed drag back effort.

Things are a bit nervy at the moment. Need some of that Klopp mentality monster magic dust.

My heart sank when I noticed we fielded the first team. Full games for VVD, Mo, Gakpo etc... why? The priority is the league.

No two ways about it we are deffo going through a dickie spell, our long sequence of wins has suddenly spluttered out into draws against Newcastle, Fulham, United and now this loss against Spurs. Luckily for us Arsenal's and Chelsea's recent form has been patchy too. Last nights result would have been seen as half decent back in the 70's and 80's. fans back then would have taken a 1-0 away loss with the second leg at anfield any day of the week so as dissappointing as the game was its not catastrophic.
We just need to start stringing a few wins together again.

could be the start of an uncertain few weeks ahead. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost a few now and farted out to a point or 2 in the race by mid feb.

Yeah has all the makings of a classic cup night and the atmosphere should be electric. We might be in a bit of a lull at the moment but hopefully it's short lived. It's a very slim lead so all to play for still.

Being a goal or two down from the first leg pretty much guarantee's you a decent atmosphere for the second leg.

I hope Slot gives Grav, VVD and few others a rest against Accrington. I don't get Why he does not give Chiesa any mins, I don't think he rates him.

My concern is Forrest away, we must get a result there and Brentford.
