Man Utd V Liverpool Sat 10th March KO: 12:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

This thread deserves to be early so let the discussions begin.

I hate these scum with passion so a victory would be extremely sweet. I really hope we can pull off a win and overtake these clowns who don't deserve to be 2nd.

This will be tough and to be honest anything is possible. It all depends on how our attackers perform. We must take our chances when given any opportunities. They will defend deep but can catch us out.

I'm an ecstatic that we have VVD to command our backline. If we didn't have him i would be worried.

My gut feeling is split on either team. Either we will win 3-1 or lose 1-0 via De gea having his usual masterclass.

We haven't beaten this scum in the league for ages, since 2014,so it's high time we gave these a spanking. The 1-4 scoreline when we spanked them at Old Trafford in 2009 comes to mind when Torres, Gerrard, Aurelio and Dosena scored was ace, and I'm hoping we can repeat that with salah scoring a hattrick.

My team would be :

Karius
Gomez.  Matip.  VVD  Robertson
Oxlade-Cham  wjnaldum  Hendo
Salah.  firmino.  Mane

The game might be too intense for Alexander Arnold, so I'd play Gomez. We scored four v Man City, so we can score highly against this lot, if we come out at a fast pace.

Their keeper, De GAY, normally plays out of his skin against us and is normally the man of the match, so that would not surprise me.

Prediction. 1-3 to us. (Salah x2, Firmino)

Bring it on scumbags. Second place Showdown :p

If there's one game that Salah bags a hattrick in this season, I hope it's this one. :)

I hope so mate that would be friggin awesome. My worry is Moureen is very good at parking the bus so i feel he will try to set out his players and stop Salah, Mane and Firmino playing their usual game. Like i said previously we really must take our chances, no tame shots against De Gea.

Anyone got team news from them lot??

I'm sure Martial is still injured..

Never been as confident, if we cant beat this United team with its miserable negative football then we dont deserve the plaudits.

I expect us score 2 goals at least, we know they are chatty so I give them 1 goal, my prediction is 1-3 or 4 or 5  :nod

The scums back four is makeshift and should be something like:

Valencia.smalling lindelof young

Ashley Young marking salah, so magic Mo should have a field day.
Their defence has been a bit shaky of late so our fab three can definitely cause these a lot of problems at the back, along with our attacking full backs.

We need to come out first half at a fast tempo.

Yup im just thinking who would be suitable in the middle.

Klopp will most likely play Can / Ox and Hendo. Im split on Milner and Hendo i feel Milner could do an ace job there.

I’ve got a good feeling in my loins about this one...the same feeling I had before the City game. I think we’ll smash four past these c*unts.

We scored four against City, so we should be able to repeat that feat against this lot. I hope it's not a bore draw though. :(
High pressing and a fast early tempo, and we could be three up at half time.

I’m not too sure about this one. You just know mourinho has been planning and plotting for this game since we last played them. They’ll play for a dull win and I expect them to get it.

I’d go with Milner, Can, and Wijnaldum (if fit) in the middle. Hopefully Lovren isn’t a bag of nerves because I also expect him to start. All their play runs through Pogba and Lukaku, we’ll need to sort them both out.
