This game has suddenly taken on more significance, the FA Cup is probably our best bet of a trophy this year given the way we are playing.

We might aswel play our best xi because resting player don't really do much.

I'd start Salah bench Origi and replace Ox with Firmino or Minamino.

Thiago, Shaq and Wij in middle, If Hendo available probably switch him for Shaq.

Win and it could do wonders for confidence.

We know that Man U will repeat the same tactic they employed last week, confirmed by Burnley so there's little point playing the same front 3 or strategy. I'd play Shaq, he played well last time and he is as good as Bobby at seeing the through ball at the moment. Lets give the lad some credit and an opportunity to shine. I'd be thinking about resting TAA quite frankly as he's just firing blanks at the moment, play Milly for the first 45 at least or Matip at RB and Hendo in the centre again. Origi better sit on the bench hoping Palace come and buy him. I'm still fuming.....  if Origi had scored that 1 on 1 at the end of the first half we would have won that game. What a cluster f..k.

This really is downright depressing. The team that won the league very comfortably and the team that are playing at the moment are simply unrecognisable. It is abundantly obvious that confidence is well and truly in the bin. Klopp has certainly got a job on his hands and this is perhaps the worst time for us to be playing at that sh1thole !! I just hope that he doesn’t try and be too clever with his team selection because another loss and a specially to United would make what is currently a bad run absolutely feckin terrible !!

Are we mixing it up and going 4-4-2 or is Jones covering Mane's position? I'm hoping at home they play more openly and allow us to play a normal game of football instead of this compressed 1-5-4 everyone is playing against us at the minute. Hard to get up much enthusiasm for this after recent performances....

Yeah I know mate I feel the same, I’m trying to stay positive but United have picked a half decent line up with the likes of Cavani, Pogba and Rashford who I feel will give us problems, especially if Trent continues his recent form.
The young lad Reece Williams as well, after a good start to his Liverpool career he’s been caught out once or twice too though in his case he’s mostly been done for pace.
We can’t continue playing rubbish for ever so I’m just hoping today is the day we turn things around and find a performance from somewhere.

At least Fernandes is only on the bench !! Feckin massive mistake that we didn’t move heaven and earth to get him when we had the chance.
