The sooner Rodgers or another manager grows a pair of balls and decides that Gerrard should be a bit part player like Jamie Carragher the better. He's in the team because of who he is, not what he is contributing to the team and the cause. The fact we win more games without Gerrard than we do with him should indicate that his team at the club is pretty much finished.

It shows you how far this club has fallen when we're still latched on to an aging relic who is no where near as good as he used to be.

He's 32 and makes far too many mistakes, I think it's time him and Carragher were confined to the dustbin of history.

Yeah, but let's be honest here. Overall, for some time now, he's contributed very little, and that's me putting it mildly.

He's a liability and the fact that 32 he hasn't altered his game to suit his aging body is very worrying. He still runs around like he's 22 and the fact is, he isn't and doesn't seem to want to change for the benefit of the team. Playing him at times is akin to playing with 10 men, he's a passenger a majority of the time.

When Lucas is back Gerrard could miss out if Sahin is playing well

What about next season when Sahin goes back to Real Madrid? Do we bring Gerrard back into the fold?

I agree with this. We were really good, but we have to hold up our hands and say Udinese are a really good team and Di Natale will find himself at a big european club very soon.

I think Gerrard is having one simple problem, adapting. He seems to be struggling on that front. Now considering his age, and his habits over the seasons, its no surprise. He will come good.
