The criticism regarding Suarez is valid, he misses far too many chances. As for Gerrard, we'll have to agree to disagree, because statistics do not lie. We're a better team without Gerrard than we are with him in the team. You can put your fingers in your ears and hum a merry tune, but it doesn't alter facts.

there was a stat in the paper the other day stating that suarez has played 60 games for liverpool and scored 27 goals, that works out at  practically 1 in 2, thats a very good goals to games ratio, especially in english football.
disagree about gerrard as well, he started the season slowly but he was the best player on the park against united and scored again last week against norwich.

Not sure the stats are accurate but for sure his scoring per clear chances is pretty low and that is what counts. Suarez has a lot to improve on his finishing skills. As to Gerrard ,again ,pretty sloppy as of late ,too many failed passes. Having said that he is our leader and captain and should get the first nod on every game ,but let's not color a rosey picture the guy is struggling.

Stats don't show how many of Suarez's chances are created by himself though. Granted he should be more clinical but he is still our most potent attacking threat.
