if we win on sunday we can open up a five point gap on united so i`d let them all re-charge their batteries.
the likes of sterling, borini, ibe, alberto, allen etc etc should have too much for notts county anyway.

I'm Not sure it was a fitness related issue....Against Villa we stopped playing on the 40th minute. But we have enough talented players we can utilize ,especially excited over Ibe.

I don't think we ran out of steam. IMO, I believe it was down to the tactics employed in the 2nd half. Did'nt like what I was watching. Sitting back and inviting pressure is not the way.....not really sure why BR decided to introduce it. Just glad we got through the game and won.

Aggressive from Brendan, would have rested Gerrard, Toure, Johnson and Sturridge myself.

No Skrtel on the bench, Would have started Borini and Jones. Probably would have rested Toure instead of Agger

Brendan taking no prisoners, would have preferred Toure rested for Sunday, Gerrard and Studge too

Not so sure about that, we kept him quiet 1st half pretty well.

Anyway, come on Redmen. give it some against Notts County.......

good line up, except for Gerrard being there, dont see the sense in that, he needs as much as rest as possible as he isnt the athlete he used to be, i would have gone with Henderson instead. Anyway we should make this comfortable and win it in the first half, im gonna go for 3-0. Looking forward to seeing Ibe and Sterling, both great prospects

I agree on the Gerrard part. Should have rested him. Johnson too.

If Borini can't get a game now, when will he?

My streams a bit late obviously :D. Great goal Sterling!

And that's the reason why we don't need squad players like Moses.
