I'm gonna go 1-0 to the us. Sturridge will score an overhead kick from 35 yards out in the 12th minute. But we'll be on our back foot defending for our lives for the rest of the game.

Aspas could do with a goal. We dont seem to have enough cover at the back and sitting Lucas out would be a gamble if we top it up with a new CB pairing; Agger/Toure could use the game time together and Johnson is one of the first names you'd want to rest in a game like this.

Id play something like:

                      Mignolet
                 Wisdom   Agger
Johnson                         Cissokho
              Henderson Allen
Ibe               Alberto           Sterling
                     Borini

Mignolet doesn't need to be rested and needs to keep his confidence going.
Toure could do with a rest as he is older and wisdom needs some time at CB since Coates is injured, Kelly unfit and Sktel MIA. 
Alberto should get a start and a chance to show us what he's about.
Borini desperately needs a game and a goal or two as he's fallen off the map completely

We should play more or less full strength, just rest Coutinho. It's prob the only trophy we look like we have a chance at this season.

I'd like us to rest a few in this one but I don't think we can afford it. I have no faith in Borini to score the goals even if we're playing against Notts County. I'd go with something like this:

Get it done in the first half and then bring the key players off.

the way we have ran out of steam in our last two fixtures i wouldnt play anyone who will be lining up against united this weekend.
if we win on sunday we can open up a five point gap on united so i`d let them all re-charge their batteries.
the likes of sterling, borini, ibe, alberto, allen etc etc should have too much for notts county anyway.
