I have a SPARE ticket for this game. My mate is a season ticket holder and has had an operation midweek so can't attend.

It should go without saying but I will say it anyway the ticket is face value ( £40 - which is slighly less tahn a Match day ticket as we are season ticket holders and get a slight discount) and is on the KOP (In the corner where the scoreboard is). Its on the same row as myself so no problems finding seat etc......

Im going so can meet you at the ground and take it from there.

P.S. Not expectinga d eluge of interest tbh but wanted to fill the seat with a fan who understands what it means to go "through the wind and the rain" so to speak !

Villa are an awful side and their performance in our 2-0 victory at Villa Park was the worst ive seen from an opposition side this season. If we can’t win this one god help us.

Would like to see this with Kuyt playing on the right. That gives Hendo a chance to play in behind Gerrard in the centre. Also means Gerrard can link up with Suarez. Would rather have seen Coates at CB. I think we'll win, but I'm finding it difficult to get up a lot of enthusiasm if I'm honest.

I'm happy to see the change in midfield regardless. That was one of the biggest problems against Newcastle. We had absolutely no control over the central midfield, we kept having to play down the right. Not all Spearings fault but it needs changing.

Yep, would have preferred Coates and Carroll as well.

Does this mean we are going 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 with Kuyt on the right or 4-4-2 with Kuyt up top with Suarez ?

Whichever way, Henderson, Shelvey and Gerrard are all attacking midfielders so we're going for all out attack !

Doni is critical today.
