I remember when people were moaning about Rafa, wanting him out and they got their wish. When you sack a top class manager and replace him with inferior managers, then you're going to suffer as a result.

I wasn't one of them

At least we got a few hard games out of the way. City, Arsenal and then Utd. Id rather get them out of the way sooner than later.

Good tackle by Enrique to deny Giroud a goalscoring opportunity.

You really have to question where the goals will come from this season...  We lost Dirk, Maxi and Bellamy, who other than Suarez were really our only goal scorers.  Borini doesn't look prolific, and we lost Carroll who at the end of last season was looking one of the more promising players in our side.

Somebody really didn't think this one all the way thru.

3 games played, 7 goals conceded.
1 Draw, 2 losses.
1 point from 9.

That's relegation form as it stands.

Anyone know what happened to Assaidi?
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

I was wondering that myself as well. I would have expected him to start by now.

i am not shocked by the result so far.
my fear that Rodgers did not have the name that would make big players come running was always a worry. I dont like they way he sets the team out but it has only been a few games and they have been hard ones, lets see what happens once the big games are out the way.

You can't attract big names on a sell-to-buy transfer policy, especially without CL football.
