Lg Cup semi Southampton v Liverpool

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Southampton should be home and dry and really lucky to still be in the tie.

Alexander Arnold getting a chasing and I will be surprised if they dont score tonight particularly as we become more desperate.

We are really off the bridle and a different team than the one early season, shot to pieces but Kop End now to save the tie and maybe the season mentally.

Toothless and pathetic 1st half.......... yet again.

When is Klopp going to give up on Can, he simply doesn't have it and needs to replace him with Wijnaldum at the start of the 2nd!

This Alexander kid has some talent, but I'm not sure whether he is defender let alone a RB.

Firmino has looked shocking and Coutinho is still a little off the pace.

Sturridge is also regressing but with the service he has had over the last few games we can't really fault him.  :no

We are lucky to still be in the tie, we seriously need to get a grip. If we do somehow go on to beat United at Wembley they should let Karius lift the trophy, without his heroics over the 2 legs we'd be well out now.

Poor stuff. All predictable and in front of the Southampton defence. Am confident that we'll get a goal, however am not so sure Southampton won't score.

Karius has looked good though. As has AA.

Lot better second half camped in their half but Foster not worked nearly enough, familiar theme our lack of guile against a wall, even a Plymouth wall.

Origi was a penalty but over two legs best teams through, we are horrible at moment but smile and carry on and be thankful for what weve got  :no

Game set and match...Tacticall checkmate plus poor personal form by the likes of Daniel Lallana Hendo Can Coutinho Bobby...Everyone but the Keeper and CBs basiclly...This is turning into an ugly spiral and reinforcements are on  the way...

Depressing stuff

Can't say I'm that gutted about this. Best team won and we're in a sticky patch. Still lots to play for though. We pick our selfs up and go again.

Wtf is it about playing that crappy midfield pairing. We had a stonewall pen, T*ss*r ref didn't give it. What a limp way to head out. Could have been a trophy, oh well.
