Never mind this particular game the whole tie could have been over in that first half if it wasn't for Karius, it could have easily been 3-0.
We have got too many fetcher's and carriers in the team and not enough players who can do something out of the ordinary to turn a game. To be fair to Sturridge has had no service whatsoever saying that though he isn't exactly busting a gut to make things happen either.
Can has been poor too and as for Klavan I haven't the foggiest what he was trying to do for the goal.
Come on Liverpool sort yourselves out.

Midfield is the problem, far too static.

Need lallana back in mid with hopefully coutinho coming on in front 3.

Pretty terrible...it's if we settled for the minimal loss...

This has probably been our worst performance of the season.

If Saints win by 1 or draw they will kick themselves as had enough chances to finish the tie here.

Midfield cuplable overall and we really are handicapped by Lucas and Can in there, squad depth again the big issue for us as the campaign gets harder and harder.

My dark side tells me its all down hill from here.

Yep...Should thank the saints it's only 1 so far..

That has got to be the worst seen this year...ManU for sure will be better...Mane out is turning to be pretty ugly..

Agree Yakka.

Took us back to the Bodger days, when we were stinking out the place with the same sort of pathetic performances.

Klopp will need to fire a rocket up every single player before our biggest game of the season on Sunday because the last 2 results have been simply unacceptable.

Poor performance. I hope Jurgen doesn't start with 3 CM's against United or we will get our @rse handed to us. It has to be 2 + Lallana. He set up conservatively at home against United and the game was a non event but with 8 wins on the bounce United are in much better form now.
We badly miss Hendo as well, without him we lack athleticism in the middle of the park.
The only positive about tonight is that we are still in the tie, we shouldn't be really.
