Derby games aren't about who plays best, it's about who gets over the line first. Passion and by god we've seen some passion at Goodison over the years. Rushie's goals, StevieG getting sent off,, but many fantastic memories purely down to passion.

Someone said we played them off the park ? Not the game I was watching. The bitters deserved at least a point, deffo.
On the red cards, I don't give a flying fook about Jones.
I am 100% more disappointed in our manager - the team needs cool heads now. He said it himself before the game - "cool heads, not cool legs". We didn't have either.
And now he lost his head and gets sent off with crucial games to come. Hardly setting a good example, Arne.
Fuming  over HIS red card....

Agree with the general sentiment, i thought they were the better side and more than deserved the draw but eff me what a way to get it, talk about a sickener. As for Doucoure he is a fvcking idiot who could have easily caused a riot there, fair dues to Curtis for not having any of it.
Between Plymouth and now this been our worst week of the season imo.

Don't be a soft lad, we come away from that game stronger, we're the strongest team in the league by far, it's ours to lose. You're upset because of a 98th minute jammy goal? Fookin 'ell even the missues is more positive than that.

Liverpool assistant boss Sipke Hulshoff was also sent off alongside Arne Slot after the game.

At the end of the day we didnt lose which is important as Arsenal still need 3 games to claw us back plus they are kopping for injuries left, right and centre atm [Saka, Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Havertz etc] which wont help their cause either. We are still in a fantastic position.
Re last night - must admit i'm getting sick and tired of watching games where opposition players can get stuck right into our players yet our players cant go anywhere near theirs. That Michael Oliver spent half the game waving/gesturing at our players to get back on their feet after they'd been scragged to the floor yet was giving Everton free kick after free kick when there was minimal or even no contact like the free kick which led up to their first goal. That player ended up injuring himself by kicking the floor and even then Oliver gave a free kick against Dom when he was nowhere near the lad.

that was a bit of a sh!tshow TBH but we avoided victory thanks to a goal 8 mins into 5 mins of injury time. go figure.
We move on to the next game... as for Everton, take your sh!thole stadium and get the fk off

I've always been very critical to refereing in England and although Oliver had a stinker last night and had many decisions against us, I don't think he decided the game. We were poor defensively and fell asleep for both goals, and didn't have a great game overall. Slightly better refereing and we might have won but overall it's on us.

This season, at least so far, I can't say we've been hard done by by refs. But it's not that refereing has improved, we've still had plenty of bad decisions go against us, but so have our rivals, so things more or less even out. At least this season Arsenal have had a lot of poor decisions against them (not as many as they're crying about though), as opposed to Man City previously who only ever got decisions going for them and never against.

Anyway, we still have a comfortable lead at the top and with Arsenal having so many injuries the title is ours to lose.

Oliver a joke, Var a joke...despite that we increase our lead to 7 points...I would rather be in our position than any of the other participants so there is no need for negativity.

Our lead is down to 4 now but we have the game in hand plus lets not forget a +6 point superiority in GD which as we well know is worth it's weight in gold down the home stretch. City have used GD against us on more than one occassion

If Arsenal keep on crawling, gaining 3 points until Saka and few others are back, we drop consecutive points then the lead will more less be over, It is very possible. That's why we mustn't be complacent. Next 4 games at least 10 or 12 points imo.

+6 GD could change in 2 games. Not much at this stage.

Cheer up lads, I remember in the good old days when we used to win the title by a point from 2-3 other teams, it makes the world a more exciting place. The world under City winning year after year has become too boring, football neeeds squeakie bottom time. A 7 point lead with a 6 goal difference is hardly worrying at this stage.

Arsenal were not very good until they scored, against a poor team in the relegation zone it should also be noted. It is a critical moment for us where we need to win to shut the door on them and that will probably be the case for the rest of the season. You can feel that the press want to see a collapse as it is a better story so we just need to keep winning. I cannot see Wolves, Aston Villa or even City playing with the intensity that Everton did as they were pumped and they barely got a point. We are still the best team this year just on balance. Everton was always going to be tough and we put the kids against Plymouth so I’m not going to panic just yet.
