Dawsons betting tips - Chelsea vs Liverpool

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby dawson99 » Fri Feb 03, 2006 9:15 am

Morning ladies and germs, here my tips for what to do on sundays game. and rememebr, be safe, gamble safe  :wwww

Liverpool are a best price 4/1 with most firms, which means that for every one pound you put on, you will get four back, plus your original one pound stake.

A adraw at half time, with liverpool winning at full time, is ahealthy 9/1 with most firms and is maybe worth a little flutter.

For the first goal scorer market id personally go for: Peter crouch.. hes 12/1 with betfred (also a good chance to take some money back from that manc scum) He is 8/1 with some other firms so the 12s looks massive.

Harry Kewell can be got at 18/1 with blue square. much better than the 12/1 he is elsewhere and the guy is definately ona  run of form!

for an outside bet id have a couple of quid on Alonso at 25/1. He felt so bad after conceding the other night and will wanna make up for it.

Ladbrokes have Makelele 12/1 for the first booking of the game. i only bring this one up as bet direct have the same player at 4/1 so the price isnt right and u got all the value in the world.

Lastly we have the man of the match award. This is only done by paddy power but can be a lot of fun and ive made alot of money from it i the past. Unsurprisingly Stvie G is 9/2 fave but with alonso at 16/1 there may be some value there alsoand i quite like the look of harry kewell at 22/1. if he scores first and has a good game then who knows eh?

Well, i dunno, its only a bit of fun (gamblnig, not thegame, thats so much more important) but it is worth having al ook around for better deals, and i'll try to help. if it doesnt work tho, tough, its a hard life aint it

I think you can bet against Liverpool just to cover a bet for Liverpool (Rule 1 Exceptions  :D )

ok, this is the first rule of betting: never back nil-nil. always back no goalscorer. u can get this at 15/2 at betfred and it also means if there is a freak own goal u are still quids in. 0-0 is a cheat result bookies use to fleece customers

Not sure if I understand this bit Dawsino

Surely even a freak own goal is credited to someone ?

an own goal does not contribute to a goal scorer market but it would count on the correct score market.

therefore woofy old chum, if u backed 0-0 at 7/1 and i backed no scorer at 15/2... if there was just the one own goal in the match then your bet would lose, and mine would win. make sense?

ok, the gooner match coming up tonite, so heres where to get the best prices:

liverpool outright: 6/5 Stan James, even money elsewhere
liverpool half time full time: 14/5stan james
draw half time liverpool full time: 4/1 generally

Man of match with paddy power has Gerrard 3/1 which is a cert i reckon. Alonso 14s is a big price tho

Special offers:
paddy power will refund all scorcasts, 1st and last goalscorer if anyone is sent off
skybet, 1st goalscorer can score 2nd to win!!!
Boylesports: if game ends 0-0 all single losing bets will be refunded

good luck all
