well mate chin up.
you`ve been a red since 2001 well i`ve been going since 1975 and i`ve seen us lose a fair few games. big games like to notts forest in the european cup and man united in a couple of f.a cup finals, not to mention the wimbledon game and the marathon semi`s against arsenal in 1980 and the rollercoaster versus palace in 90. not to mention derby games and title deciders against arsenal at anfield.
a 1-0 loss away at fulham aint the end of the world as we know it.

Twas 2-0. Yeah that Arsenal semi in 80 was a real bummer, Brian Talbot crossed it after Ray Kennedy failed to put it out for a corner, was it Sunderland who scored. I've gone of on a tangent here have'nt I ?

Red since 2001? Lmao that doesn't even deserve a response.

Either a glory hunter or a 7 year old.

Why are people even attempting to be serious when the complete tool starts a thread?

you know what neil i really thought it was our year in 80 when we were 1 down at villa park with 10 seconds left and daglish scored to take it to another replay. we went ballistic when that one went in.

I haven't seen the game yet (and probably won't bother trying to as I get the Impression we were cr@p) :;):  but calling for the managers head at this point in time is totally ridiculous, I agree that results like this are just not good enough and believe that some of the players wearing the red shirt are only either here as stop gaps or to have a least decent pay day (Morientes), i have been a staunch supporter of nando's in the past few months but i'm at the point now were it has to be said that he needs to go and a replacement brought in (i think as we are struggling for Premiership goals that Robbie Keane would be ideal - but i'm getting off track here). The fact still remains that a lot of the players on the pitch are not what Rafa wants out there and are in some way connected to the Houllier era and it is going to take time i'm afraid to replace them, players like:
TRAORE
HYYPIA
CISSE
RIISE
FINNAN
Please don't get me wrong, i'm not necessarily saying these players are the ones that are causing the poor performances and results i'm just saying that they are Houlliers players and rafa might not see them fitting into his masterplan and  'cos we haven't got a bottomless pit of money we can't just ditch them all at once otherwise we wouldn't have 11 players to field on a saturday. Rafa will want his own players on the park and even some of these he has probably only brought in to fill gaps like JOSEMI. The failure in the summer to strengthen the critical areas of the squad at the back and on the wings i feel was not for the want of trying and was hindered i feel by the fact that the minute Liverpol was mentioned in the negotiations the price would go up by half. All the same it is becoming more obvious that Rafa may have to start making tactical changes to our style of football and we may have to start throwing our weight around a bit more. One thing is clear though and that is there aren't going to be any easy answers nor any quick solutions to our problems but we must remain patient and not start making heat of the moment calls for the managers head.

Did you actually believe the hype of being the best in Europe?? ???  The only team playing any decent football in this country is Chelsea. In a league that sees a very pedestrian Spurs in second...oh hang on make that Charlton in second place and ManUre and the gooners behind Spurs, this should give you an idea of just how bad this league is at the moment. Our loss against Foolham just compounds just how over confident we became after becoming champions of Europe. We aren't even average in our own league let alone Kings of Europe.

still we have 2 more points from corresponding fixtures last season.  and from what i've heard their goalie kept them in it with some glorious saves  (havent seen the game yet as i had my own match to play)
