We will rip spurs apart - Saturday night's all right for party

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The team looks really solid. Dudek is a quality goalie. Riise looks really fresh and will play much better this season. Josemi is a good find at right back. Carragher is back at his best where he belong. He looks much more comfortable, and he does not have to move across the halfway line making crosses anymore. Hyypia is good in the air and a real danger at corners and free kicks. Hamann and Gerrard looks good together again. Kewell has potential. Finnan, well, he will soon be replaced with someone else. Cisse is big and strong and should score tons of goals. Baros is always working hard, trying to get away from defenders and create goals. We have a good manager who has made the team fitter and stronger than ever. I actually heard a lot of our players had lost weight and felt really fresh. Now they have to work at the new formation and gameplan. As the season gets going we will become stronger and stronger. Buy a decent winger(Garcia?), a central defender and a creative midfielder(Alonso?) and we have a very strong team. I just can't help feeling sorry for Spurs. I think we will crush them at saturday. 0-3 is my prediction for the game. Cisse will score 2.

There's good odds for Gerrard as first scorer according to Ladbrokes. Stevie as first scorer in a 2-0 win is something like 55-1, which is pretty astonishing value on the back of his two goals against GAK.

Yes, a win for us and a thrashing for the low lives called Everton.
