Jesus, I hope he's fit enough to play, tomorrow's game is our biggest league game in 30 years.

Mentioned this in the match thread, but VVD looked out of sorts last night and probably shouldn't have started.  He switched off, misplaced passes and was to blame for the goal.  Think we might have been better letting him sit it out, if he wasn't well.

Without him commanding the back line we probably would've lost 4-1. Leicester would've ripped apart our defense.

Robertson feked up on the first goal even the comentator mentioned it was a pointless FK to give away.

Leading 1-0 at HT i think we would've won.

Captain Van Dijk immense as ever. He has been close to scoring on many occasions, glad he got 2 yesterday. It is nice when others apart from front 3 contribute to goals.

He's been captain 7 times this season.

And we've won every single time he's worn the armband...

We all know he's the permanent captain in waiting, just a matter of time.

Looks like VVD has won PFA players player of the year ahead of Sterling to be announced tomorrow.

Congrats to the Big man he's been unbelievable this season.

Amazing news, he has been awesomely imperious this season, can't remember watching a defender as consistently brilliant all season!
