There was nothing from any of them except the greek who was at least trying.
That was a team who wasnt in the slightest bit ar'sed that they were making complete cu'nts out of themselves, and us last night.

I like you was unfortunate to lay out some hard earned.. on watching that display mate ..and yes the players have all but surrendered to the fact we our completely rudderless ,and their collective performances in the realization of this ,have been what could be described as shameless ....however even after our completely shambolic first half ,the players  still returned to the field devoid of any instruction surely they should have left that dressing room with the sting of some serious home truths still ringing in their assaulted ear drums ..... ?

RBG I aint arguin anymore. I have said my piece and agree he must go. We are entering a dark time as I have said and I believe things will get worse before they get better. I hope Im wrong but the way those players performed last night fills me with dread for the next manager, whoever he is.

Totally agree but really wish I didnt

Not again...

I think there is clearly an English Spanish divide in the team... Carra and Stevie on one side, Reina and Torres on the other... You can clearly see Reina and Torres are unhappy this season... we will lose them if the owners don't do something now...

So it's the proverbial it's-the-players non-sense again... why didn't this apply to Rafa last season...

The buck stops with the manager then and now...

We have a good enough squad to be challenging for 4th... Roy doesn't know how to play our key players Gerrard, Torres, Cole, Meireles... that IS THE PROBLEM. He is also asking Reina to hoof the ball instead of making use of his thrown distribution which is one of the best I've seen in a goalkeeper...

Dinosaur tactics THAT'S the problem...

The next manager if he's decent enough can easily outdo Roy with this current squad...

FFS i think di matteo will be better than Roy!

I cant really blame the players.  Agger made it clear that Hodgson doesn't encourage defenders to play football.  He is our best footballing defender and he cant get a game.  The manager blasted Johnson in public, then distanced himself from the Cole transfer before having a blast at him too.

He blamed the B team for the Carling Cup exit.  Im sure all them players were delighted to be called the B team.  He has Torres playing like Heskey.

He constantly plays Meiriles and Kuyt out of position.  He doesn't rate Pacheco, one of our most gifted youngsters.  He offloaded Aqua within a few weeks of arriving, one of our most technically gifted players.

He plays Konchesky over Aurelio.... and so on and so on.

Has nobody noticed that its our better players struggling to play the way they are being told?  These players don't know what hoof, rough up, or sit deep mean.

Has he gone yet? I was hoping for the news when i got home but still haven't heard anything even after dinner.....Not that firing Roy will solve everything but at least that's a start.

Opinions will always be divided amongst supporters but at the end of the day I think it was right to part company with Benitez but unfortunately we got it wrong with Hodgson, a rushed appointment under difficult circumstances and a temporary board. Its just one thing after another and has been a hell of a year at Liverpool for all the wrong reasons. We now must look toward NESV to unite the fans again by removing Hodgson who is the biggest dead man walking ever to manage a football club at this point. Unless hes completely deluded he must surely recognise that himself and frankly looked a beaten man on the sidelines last night. No more jumping about, no more waving his arms, he just sat completely lost and without a single allie inside Anfield. We can talk about him all day but thats no longer an argument, what we need now is turn attention toward Henry and Werner. They now need to do their job and give us all a break by putting Hodgson and us out of our misery by installing a new manager ready for the window, polish up this team a bit, and all the fans rallying behind it.

I agree, Roy has to go.. but who do we get to replace him.  We need the right man to start the re-building process, but there are few top quality managers out there who are available or would want to leave their current club half way through the season.

Also if we bring in a new manager now, he will have no chance to see which players to bring in in the transfer window which starts in 2 days or do we leave all the purchases up to DC?
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

He shouldn't go anwhere near them. If he wants a voice to be heard, he should have heard it at Anfield recently on the kop end.

However are you seriously telling me that all those 14 over paid so called professional athletes couldnt string 2 passes together and have more than 1 shot at goal no matter who the manager was?
What the fu'ck are we paying them so much money for? Why do we idolise these retarded rich boys who cannot even play for their own pride or the supporters who pay these extortionate amounts only to be sh'it on?

You are right in what you are saying thommo  but doesn't that tell you there is something seriously wrong ,that those 14 players(not 1or 2) cannot and do not look like a team that can play together or pass to one another or create a chance . It tells me everything about the manager .

Get kenny and Thommo in and try to salvage something from this sorry season.  Let Kenny and Damien proceed with the January budget and keep searching for a long term manager.

Or

Appoint Rijkaard before someone else does.

I think id go with kenny and see whose available in the summer...possibly Ancelloti.
