Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

How many public announcements from the club have turned out to be lies ? THe men running our club have lied to us from day one so not going to believe them now - how the heck are we going to service the debt if player sacrifices aren't made ? Are they going to get more debt to pay off debt ?! We certainly don't have income to service the debt as witnessed by the financial records last year and that was with CL - we don't have that money now

You'd think he'd of been there to add some credibility, he was supposedly part of the process to bring a manager in?

Just Broughton and Woy alone?  Flimsy, very flimsy.

Or maybe he's just  underwhelmed and couldn't give a toss?

Or maybe his being there would have been the story and so he stayed away.....that's more likely imho

I think Kenny will be off.... he has been undermined publicly by that tw@t Purslow and the other cunt ... he's lost to much face over this farce  :(

How has he been undermined?

Hodgsons on a 3 year deal and I bet hes not on top dollar like our previous chief or able to grab us by the nuts if we want shut so just let him have a crack at it. I think he will surpass Rafas effort last year but if things go tits then we open the door, send him away and bring in another, no worries. We have some cracking players and even under the :censored: cloud that hangs over us the fact is we are still a bloody good club and better than most thats for sure. A good start with decent football and Roy and the lads will be up and running.

New Q&A video interview with Martin Broughton.

"What really impressed us was Roy wanted to get the best out of the current squad and never asked how much money have I got to spend or said can I bring this player or that player in and he has a proven track record of doing just that"

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/eseason....7.php3.

Ill bet your there fecking made up with that not asking how much money . because you know what the answer would of been, NONE
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

Does anyone actually know if Kenny put his name forward for the role? I heard it from the horses mouth some weeks ago when he was quoted as saying "I would babysit until a suitable permanent manager was sourced". Frpm what I have been told he knows Roy well and, along with Steve and Carra, actually endorsed the move for Hodgson!

I welcome the appointment of Roy Hodgson. I have been hugely impressed by what he had to say today. He has over achieved in every management role he has undertaken so let's hope he brings stablility to the club and over achieves at Anfield.

Welcome Roy and all the best.

He came across very well and is a likeable fella, and like nanny said he seemed to be begging him for a chance , maybe he will suprise us all and we grow to love him.
But if them gang of kunts feck him around they will have us to deal with again.
Dont take no sh!t Roy and let us know if your being messed around.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Right we've got the manager in place but what about the backroom staff. Some of the scouts let us down wth some of the players Rafa bought. I'd like to see a British core to the club. Keep Sammy may be ask Thommo to come in with the kids and make the club what it was. Look I don't expect miracles in the first season but lets get the fundamentals  from the bottom up right and we'll reap the rewards in the season to come. And one last thing....Liverpool Football Club is not a business, it's not about making a profit, it's about doing things the Liverpool way, and play for the fans. The hearbeat of the club.

"Give me men whose hearts have bled, make them proud to wear the red! "

Who do you mean when you say "people"?

I don't think the fans in the ground will; they'll be patient with him.

He lost a certain amount of credibility when he proffered himself as manager of Liverpool Football Club and his request fell on deaf ears to put it simply his pleas were ignored , with all the contempt we have come to associate the current regime with ......... does that answer your question ?
