No, what would have happened would have been that Agger would instantly have been denounced and called all the c...s under the sun. People would have been clamouring to have him fecked off out of the club pronto.

As it is, he isn't in the team and is getting the ersehole which is understandable. I actually have some sympathy with him as I think he's a better player than Skyrtel, but he'll have to wait for his chance then take it when it comes like everyone else.

The difference is, Agger is pointing out something that anyone with two eyes watching us can see as an issue, and that's that we're almost anti-football at the moment. When a player like Agger, who's natural game is to get the ball down and run it from the back or spray a ball forward or to the wings is told to change his game and hoof otherwise he's jinged to the bench is a bit of a joke. Now that's an anti-football philosophy. We need players like Agger on the pitch when fit, because he offers us something that none of our other defenders don't.

Agger should show some decorum and professionalism if he did indeed say this publicly. Whingeing like a big girl because youre not getting a game is not the Liverpool way for me Im afraid. Best he knuckles down and show the manager he is making a mistake rather than saying it the papers.

to be honest he's not the only one. the squad has been littered with players who feel that whinging to their native press is the way to force the issue. it's modern day football i'm afraid.

for agger read riera, babel, benayoun and mascherano.

Agger can get with the cause or feck off. V disapointed to read this after the way the club has supported him through injuries and one or two allegations in regards to his personal life...

Look, if our defensive philosophy is working, agger can stfu. But our defensive philosophy is clearly NOT working. And we all know agger is a better player than skrtle. We all know last season when skrtle was injured and agger came back in, we started to become more solid at the back.

I really don't know why we keep hoofing the ball? I mean if under lots of pressure and dying for a clearance that i understand. But we do it as a strategy then that's a problem. We are not an amaturer team and would have expect more from being a professional team. Roy must do better or at least show some imagination since it is not working right now.

What do u expect when we have $hitty wingers ???

Wingers who are slow...........

Wingers who can't even beat players.........

Wingers who have terrible 1st touch (trap the ball further than they pass it)......

Wingers who can't even put a decent cross via their weaker foot....

Forget about getting another striker.....If we don't get better wingers...there is no other way we can play apart from hitting it long .......

We don't have a decent winger since kewel left.

You cite Harry Kewel as a decent winger?

Oh, and when was the last time we had a winger at Liverpool in the true definition of the position? The term "winger" is an almost obsolete one in modern football. Wingers were made redundant as soon as 4-4-2 became an archiac system.
