It is good thou that the player arent living in the past - hopefully some posters can follow suit. The bit I was most worried about was Hodgson alluding to the set up for the Brum game being the same as the Arsenal game - I hope that's not his model for the future and how he sees us setting up .

Jesus Christ.

You were the moaner moaning about a lack of togetherness and looking miserable. Now that has been laid to rest your moving the goal posts and continue to make sly digs at any given.

Apart from the 'bit that worried you the most' isn't there nothing that you thought 'hmm, this sounds good, let's hope this comes to fruition'.

You said you'd stop with the bitterness, yet it's patently clear you can't-as for living in the past that little notion sits closer to home.

I'm sorry but the actions and the body language I have seen on the pitch don't look like any togetherness to me - they can be wonderfully together in training - it means nothing though if it can't be replicated on the pitch during a game .

And you are an expert - personally I'd rather go with what Agger said, no offence.

So now we have to go with everything players say and it's no longer just PR trying to gives things a boost - have the players looked happy to you while playing lately ?

It's called sticking up for someone when someone comes flying in with insults - as it seems some are incapable of actually debating a point with any sort of restraint and prefer to just throw around expletives on a forum . As for flame wars - there is only one master at them around here

Would you rather they look happy then when loosing to Citeh 3-0?

The FACT is the training camp is a much happier place now and this will only be a good thing for the players. If you don't like it - pah, take your bitterness elsewhere!

I thought you had agreed with what BB said the other day?

Was that just a tokenistic gesture GBYS?

It's only good if it translate onto the pitch during a match and we get results and goals and points - until then its meaningless - many players over the years have said all is wonderful in training but it didn't move to the pitch so it's worthless

Yeah whatever.

I think I'd rather go and get a root canal than try and talk sense to you.

Do we win games for being happy in training ? Do we win trophies for being happy in training ? You enjoy the players being lovely in training and praising it - I myself will wait until it translates onto the pitch during the season - until then it's meaningless

I hope they havent been reading yours and bennys posts?
On a serious note:
“We’ll get better but I’m not prepared to set a timescale. We need to be more creative, we need to be better defensively, we need to be better at set plays. We need to be better at all the things we work at. We do as much as we can in training. But it is still a newish team and it will take some time before we can sit back and say we are firing on all cylinders. I am only confirming that of course it is a time of transition, which is always a difficult period. Every transition is difficult, even if there are no changes in the club itself.”
Would you say that Roy is pretty clued up as to whats needed?

P.S. is benny GYBS???!!!

If you say yes your a liar.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

The club are making me miserable too !!

What I will add though and this isn't a dig at anyone we now have more or less all first team players together minus Kuyt.

So from this exact moment in time is when I shall judge Hodgson as there should be no excuses for not fielding a strong team that includes one of Poulsen or Lucas but for sure not both of them.

He hasn't had all the players together yet as he has now and we should see a massive improvement starting with tonight.
