Rafa to deny the f.a.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The FA are taking the wazz. If they're that bothered about certain players being involved, they should pay their wages for the duration of the trip, and any time the players are out injured. I bet they'd stop organising these bulls*it games then! Up the 'pool!

I live in the US and even I'm frustrated with this tour. seems like a waste if time and energy, especially when Carra is getting married, and we may have a parade to attend to. (hopefully)

This tour is an absolute farce, why send the english National team to America ffs!!!!? Especially after a long and arduous season - our boys shouldn't go.

Speaking as an American, I'd love to get the chance to see Gerrard and Carra play, and even, I hate to admit it, Beckham (he's the only player anyone over here knows, anyway). But seriously, it's a stupid idea to do it right now, and I doubt that anyone's going to show up anyway. Colombians will show up to that match, but the only Americans who'll want to see it are the ones who love football, and they'll certainly change their minds when they see that nobody big'll be playing.
It's really a dumb idea anyway...most Americans without direct immigrant ties (Italian, mostly) would rate England as their number-2 supported national team under the USA...even OVER the USA in many cases, as we've had a pretty awful team up until recent years. So first off, England doesn't need any fans in America. Secondly, as much as we like England, I doubt many are still going to bother seeing the matches...we're a lazy bunch, after all.
Those club tours, though...those are great. Getting to see the Reds play Celtic in Connecticut was one of the absolute best moments of my life.

I guess you are not an American citizen the way that you talk. If you are, you are talking like you don't live in "flyover country" as the liberal pinkos here call it.

Look politics aside (way aside from this topic), I won't have you making denigrating comments about my country. Seeing that you obviously didn't think before you typed, it is asenine to say that England doesn't need American fans. Further, to stereotype all Americans as being too lazy to go to a damn soccer match just about makes me blow a fuse.

I don't think that America is perfect, but anything to increase the interest here in football would be good.

The tour is ill timed. That is all.

And the FA (Fook!ng A$ses) can stick the tour up their :censored:, especially after they are obviously being flippant in their dismissal of LFC's CL qualification.

Benitez is a genius if he intended this to wake the slobs at the FA office. We are not going to take it.
Mourinho was customizing his flashy blue racing car -- applying the finishing touches of go-faster stripes, aerodynamic spoilers and a fat f@ck you exhaust -- while on his red car, Benitez was trying to glue together a broken chassis, repair bodywork and replace burst tyres.

Sheesh! I'm going to go ahead and refrain from argument here, in the interest of cooler heads' prevailing, but I should also probably emend my previous statement to say that England doesn't need any MORE fans in this country. At least not at the expense of Liverpool players' fitness.

Pardon us Yanks. We have another sport with the same name that you mentioned, which is the most popular sport in our country. We go back and forth with the two. As an FYI, we also call your "chips" fries over here.

It is funny how there are other cultures than European.
