Yes, Rafa posts on RAOTL

I would have thought he had better taste than that. Now I am worried about his decision making!

How can someone as sarcastic and unfunny as yourself be given a job as a mod?

Your attitude towards everyone else is quite frankly a joke, and for me to jto say that is clearly worrying. At least I enter into some sort of debate and argue my point. Your sarcasm is pathetic and all you ever seem to do is post one liners with sarcastic answers.

Posting things like "Rafa doesn't read these boards" and, "Arbeloa has been our best defender this season, FACT" are typical of the :censored: you're starting to come out with. Bloody well prove it.

I used to have an ounce of respect for your posts Leon, now you're just becoming tiresome since you've gained this extra "responsibility".

You're posting now more than ever about 95% of your posts offer the forum nothing. No-ones got the balls to say it to you because you're a mod, and you'll probably warn and ban people, but I'm not the only one who thinks it.

Stop acting a bellend, leave that to other people.

FOOTBALL EXTRA
By David Maddock 12/10/2007

The Liverpool manager knows there are problems at Anfield after two poor home performances. But instead of sniping, he wants to see people offering support to his players, as he gets them working harder than ever to find a solution.

Benitez knows that his team has lost confidence, and he argues that to point the finger at them - and the management - merely deepens the problems.

And the Anfield boss insisted that fans and former players have to now get behind the club if they want to see the success they yearn for.

"This isn't a time for being negative, it's a time for being positive. We know that we haven't played well, but to respond to that, you have to be positive," Benitez said.

"You can't accept that you will be bad and let everything fall apart. You have to work hard to try and recover.

"It is true we have lost some confidence, but being negative isn't going to get it back. What do people want? For us to give in? No, we will work hard and fight, because that is the only way."

Benitez believes that the snipers have over-reacted to two bad results, and are too quick to lay the blame at his door because of his rotation policy.

He argues passionately that Liverpool, in fact, have had their best start in years, are in contention for all trophies.

"We're are still unbeaten in the Premiership, and we are in a much better position than last year. People seem to forget that," he said.

"We are in a good position, and we have players who will be fit and fresh at the end of the season when it is important."

I’m not sure what the purpose of Rafa ranting at the media and in particular to those who have dared to offer even the remotest of criticisms towards him will achieve.

I thought it would be in a much higher taste to stay quiet and let the team do the talking on the pitch, to silence his critics.

It sounds as though Rafa realises that this season is effectively his make or break season, another sub-standard season and even the most supportive fans will start asking some serious questions.

FWIW, I feel there has been an overreaction and I can’t fault those who are bitterly disappointed or upset (I too threw some wild accusations around, such as Man City will knock the team off the top four places in the league).

In truth the team has played eight matches in the league so far this season and are six points off the top of the table, that’s not a healthy position to be in, but it’s not an unhealthy one to be in either at this stage.

The one worry I have is that the team is not good enough to realistically amount a stern challenge both domestically (the league) and in Europe (Champions League) if this is indeed the case, then Rafa needs to make the right choices and changes to get the team to the next level.

If he fails to do this, then I’ll have some serious questions of my own to ask.

But if you were in the pub with a manc and he was saying exactly what many of you do on here, you'd want to spark them out.

Double standards...

So why don't you criticise the rubbish performances by certain individuals, rather than put all the blame on Rafa?

look we all remeber last season and the seson before that, we all kept saying that if we had, had a better start we would have won it. This is our better start, its veen our best start under Rafa, and were unbeaten.

Last season we were :censored:.

The season before last was the only time we've looked a very very strong team under Rafa.

We were only two players away, this one is still 3 or 4 away. Infact, the more I see this team at the minute, the more faults I can see with it.
