Arsenal? I would have rather steered away from any English teams.

dont matter it worthless being in this torny if you get easy road into final then you get there and lose better to play the best and get alot of confidence last year we had pretty easy road to final apart from chav game this year we will be flying by time we hit the last game.

Remember the the year we won it we had progresively harder games and in the final we had the belief to come back from 3-0 down.

Look at arsenal they had such an easy path to final and they got done by a very confident barca and if manc think they going final they gotta get past one of the most proven team in champions leauge barca over last 3 years apart from us so not easy for them.

Don't think we could've got a harder route. We play Arsenal three times in a week , then if we make to the semi's the second leg is away probably to Chelsea , then it's odds on for Barca/Man U in the final.

Some f'uckin nervous nights ahead.

I think Arsenal is the toughest draw we could have had, even over Barcelona.

If they hit the same form as they showed in the San Siro against AC Milan then it will be extremely difficult for us to progress.

However, everybody knows that Liverpool are a different beast in Europe and I'm sure Arsenal didn't fancy getting drawn out against us any more than we did against them, and to win the Champions League you have to beat the best opposition around and the form Gerrard and Torres are on we can do just that.

As for the others ties, Chelsea should be too strong over two legs for the Turks and Manchester United have beat AS Roma a couple of times in the last 2 or 3 years so you have to fancy 3 English clubs to progress to the semi-finals.

Didnt Arsenal beat Juve and Real Madrid on the way to the final.  Not exactly easy.

As long as we are in the game after the 1st leg we can win.  I dont want to be chasing the game at home as they can hit u on the break at such speed.

very tough but very very exciting
but 3 games against them in a row, something has to give. unsure if the team can maintain their consistency

We'll loose both of the away matches but win big at home, as long as the bitters stop their lucky winning streak it should be all good.

I might have to go and place a bet on Arsenal being victorious over the two legs.

That way if we do lose it will soften the blow a little, and if we win I'll be too busy doing cartwheels to notice the hole in my pocket!  :D

Mate rafa is a fecking genius, by f*cling up us in the league he has done us a favour, in the league game we can put out our youth team while arsenal will have to go full strength as they are still chasing the league

Rafa= genius

I hope you all know I am joking

sh i t me. This means the fixture list reads like this.

23 March  - Man Utd (A)
1/2 April - Arsenal (A)
5 April - Arsenal (A)
8/9 April - Arsenal (H)

If Liverpool get the dates of 2nd April then it would read

23 March  - Man Utd (A)
30 March - Everton (H)
2 April - Arsenal (A)
5 April - Arsenal (A)
8/9 April - Arsenal (H)

Its so typical.....we always get the hardest team (the leaders of the english premier league which is the best league in the world).

And why does manure always get roma ?  :no

Hope we win this championship by :

1)beating arsenal in the quarter finals
2)beating Fernebache in the semis
3)beating schalke  in the final

but knowing as how we always do stuff the hard way.... to win this we have to...
1)beat arsenal in the quarter finals
2)chelsea in the semis
3)Barcelona/manure in the final

The problem is we're still chasing 4th , like Arsenal we can't afford to gift anything in the league game.
