Your an idiot.

I don't know what everyone else thought but I 100% agree with Rafa's selection of Pennant. Pennant looked confident and was creating enough to have two markers on him most of the time. He was my man of the match in the first half.

Pennant had a decent game, he did rather lack a final product at times.

By the way "your an idiot" has a certain irony about it :D

Carraguer: "Defeat will make us stronger"

I agree. Seedorf, Gatusso, Maldini, have played and lost finals, and some of our players will learn from the experience and will be stronger mentally.

1/ we get the chance to win it again next season

2/ Zenden's gone now surely

3/ Mascherano, looked like the player we all hoped he would be last night.

4/We outplayed a great Milan team for large portions of the game

5/Our need for more creativity and quality upfront was highlighted

6/ At least it wasn't the Mancs we lost to last night!

We got to the Final of the Champions League.

We're the second best team in Europe.

one positive is this season we played football against the big teams rather than trying to nick a goal and shut up shop.

Thing is, that may be true, but no one remembers the losers, and you certainly don't get a prize for second place. That's of little to no comfort for losing this final.

I'm sorry people - you can try to look at the possitives and the negatives. Fact is, it doesn't dampen the misery of losing in a final as grand as this. Getting there doesn't happen too often in a person's lifetime. The only way to make up for it is to go and get there as soon as possible. I want that to be next season. And I want us to win it. That's the only way the hurt can be totally bannished for good.

League has to be the priority next season, a Cl win as well would make it a season to remember!

One major positive is that, although we lost, we gained massive respect from other supporters and now they realise Liverpool really are a force in football that just lack that cutting edge (ie someone who can score !)
