Morientes agent denies reds deal

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The agent of Fernando Morientes has insisted no deal has been struck with Liverpool despite the striker suggesting a move was imminent.
"It's true that Liverpool want Morientes but there is no agreement with Liverpool," said the 28-year-old's agent Gines Carvajal.

Morientes seems willing to make the switch to Anfield.

He told the Reds website: "I don't want to expand except I am already looking through the English dictionary."

Morientes is struggling to make the first team at Real with Ronaldo, Raul and ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen above him in the pecking order.

And Carvajal has admitted the Spanish international's future is now in the hands of Madrid, who will need to agree a fee for the player.

"Everything depends on Real Madrid - I haven't seen anything in writing from Liverpool," Carvajal said.

Should Morientes sign for Liverpool?

"I know they spoke with Madrid and the initial amount did not satisfy the president.

"But within the right price frame the feelings of the player will be a priority - that is important.

I heard that Arrico Saci(i hope its correct the name he he)the new football director Madrid's said that he wants Et'to and he is goin to give Owen Samuel and Woodgate for him.
So it is very difficult for Morientes to come in Anfield!!!!
