Liability this season and marks the man out of the game far too much instead of concentrating o nthe ball.

Got to be benched when Carra is fit.

Good to see you posting again Leon

Less skinheads and tattoos, more perms and 'tasches.  Problem solved.

the more we've had to rely on Skrtel the more we realise we miss Carra. Skrtel isn't a bad player, but he's not up to scratch for a top 4 team....and if that's where we want to be then it might be best we ship him out and bring in someone who doesn't go to pieces in the box when the heat is on

I'm not sure Carra is our long term solution ,his from dropped rapidly. I would however play the Greek Before Skertl ,he is much more dominant in the Air and prooved he can score.

Agreed. Skrtel is a bomb scare of a player at the moment and needs to be dropped. I don't think he is a bad player but he is clearly really struggling for form and confidence.

Alan Hansen was quoted on MOTD last night as saying our 2 x CBs were solid and gave nothing away  :help

One the LB situation is resolved then maybe we will see Johson back at RB and put Kelly inside alongside Agger. That would allow for Skrtel to be dropped or sold and the Greek released.

Thought his performance against Stoke was absolutely immense and more like the Skirtel we had in the 08/09 season. Kenny obviously believes in him despite the sh*te he's been playing for so long. There was not a question of us looking for a defender in the transfer window apparently and this only gives weight to how much Kenny may think of him. More of please!

He wasn't immense, he was ok and solid, but he couldn't cope Stoke's aerial ability and he had some moments. Kyriagkos had a better game than him.

He gave away a cheap foul 50 seconds into the game and I felt it was going to be another one of those games.  He was solid enough for the first time in quite some time, but keep in mind that Delap didn't start, which would have forced a lot of pressure on Soto and him.  If he doesn't really pick it up by the summer, a new CB will be bought I'd imagine.  He may be bumped soon as Carra's good to start.

diabolical is a bit harsh but i'm certainly not his biggest fan. having said that he's still been better than carragher for the last 18 months.

My girlfriend loves skrtel.  Somehow she thinks he's cute... that says a lot about my looks :O

She will be very upset if he ends up going, but I feel that the time has come.  He just isn't Liverpool standard.  We need to replace him with somebody like Kjaer or Mertesacker.

After a couple of decent performances he's reverted back to his bad decision making and general sh*t play. Lost faith in him again. He looked so good 2 years ago. Needs to be replaced asap
