he is, but like so many S American's, he holds dual citizenship because his mothers, aunts, sisters, brothers, friend was born in Spain.  :D

I do believe if you need a work permit these are the things that are needed for one:

You need to have played 75% of your countries internationals

or if you haven't done that you need to be well known

or if you don't have that it is based on what they think your future success will be e.g. I think he will play for Chilie or I think he will become a very good player.

Yep looks like he's another Left winger.

Just saw a clip of him on sky sports coming in from the left wing and scoring a sweet long ranger with his left peg.

So we may have Kewell, Zenden, Riise and Gonzalez all competing for left wing???  A right sided player or 2 wouldn't go a miss

BTW he can also play left back but midfield is his preferred position.

It's about time this work permit bo*locks was sorted out. In this climate of nancies and political correctness, I'm suprised it's not classed as racism!!!!!

we have garcia, nunez and maybe stelios competing for a right sided place in the midfield.
Finnan and josemi competing for a right back place.

Some reports have him at 20 years of age, others have him at 22 and the Liverpool.tv one has him at 24.

Except that, Garcia isnt really a winger, nunez has yet to impress and stelios is still a bolton player

Oh yeah, and Josemi is not yet proven and Finnan may yet end up in jail (fingers crossed he doesn't tho)

So I stand by my initial statement that we need some right-sided players :)
