Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I notice Sakho has been ranked in Fifa's top 10 players so far at the world cup based on statistics

That's pretty impressive tbh, hope he can take this form back to us for the new season

He can do a job, but we need someone next to him to talk him through. Has skrtel like tendancies in that he drops off to much, doesn't hold a line and doesn't get out quickly enough.

Bit naughty that, we are lucky we haven't got 2 players banned for 4 months after that one.

its incidents like this that are all too common in the game and need to be stamped out, maybe if biting was happening every other week they would then begin to turn a blind eye  :D
if given the option though id much rather be visiting the emergency department for a tetanus over having to get my mouth wired shut for 8 weeks  :nod

Don't know if you guys heard but he apparently stormed out of Anfield in frustration for not being even on the bench for yesterday's game. Apologized later but still, that's no way a professional should behave. He's been our worse defender lately anyway, and that's saying a lot considering how poor our defense in general has been. I'd be a bit worried about him if he can't see that.

For any professional footballer its an act that would bring censure ,but for a Liverpool player its fucking inexcusable  :no

its a shame he didnt leave the extortionate fee we paid at the door on the way out  :nod
imo he's frustrated by a lot of things, he's not done well enough, prone to many errors and its probably sank in that he will never be 1st choice. as much as us fans cringe at the muck rodgers comes out with id imagine there are quite a few frustrated players listening to the same from him.

£18M and a French international, yet every time he's on the ball I'm mortally worried. Says a lot about Rodgers signings. Sorry Brendan we played out of our skin last season but this season you've been (kinda) found out...even after spending >£115M on new players

Sakho is out for up to another 10 days with his hamstring injury. The Echo also contradicting other reports and say Lovren is groin injury.
