only joking mate - but to say Neill is better than Finnan, who has been one of the best and most consistant Right Backs in the premiership over the last 2 years is a bit much.

Do you happen to know any good Mexican fullbacks by the way?

If Lucas does come then fair enough im sure Rafa knows what he is doing, but for me Finnan would still be 1st choice RB. :nod

Lucas would be a fantastic addition to our backline. He is tough, versatile and plays his heart out. I know most of you don't rate him much on this forum, but I think the guy is an unpolished gem. He had an awesome World Cup, very under-rated by the media (one example is
how he took Ronaldinho to the cleaners in the Brasil game) and in my eyes would have made the World XI based on that tournament.

Rafa can make him an even better player, which is good for us and Australia.

He'll be a good signing.

We need more hardmen in this team, to give a little back when Blackburn, Bolton and Everton try to kick our flair players to death.

You know he will only be a backup player, he can play both right and left, so i think he's gonna be a good signing for us.

I watched the Australia game yesterday agaisnt paraguay, Lucas Neil captained it, he was very solid in defence, and played awesome long-balls to the forward line.
