did you watch them ? they did what lucas does - keep it simple and just let the flair players do the business.

Rubbish, they tackled tracked back and protected the defence. Lucas can do one thing, keep it simple. He offers nothing else, he's a complete wimp.

So the question is how do we win so many matches with him playing ? 20 odd games he has played ? are we that good we win playing with 10

We obviously are. Lucas has played well about two times this season, which is pathetic. He's so average and barely does anything of note. In pratically every game he's a passenger and he seems content to be that way, we should get rif A.S.A.P we could do much much better.

So we have been beating teams playing with just ten and lucas hasnt contributed anything bar two games out of the 20 odd he has played ? im sorry but we are not that good and lucas had to off contributed in most of those games so maybe he is nowhere near as bad as what people are making out - well i know that he isnt as bad as what people say .

Explain to me how Lucas is a good player and what he offers to the team, you never know i may see the light

He plays it simple , he harasses players , he keeps the ball flowing , he has decent vision and he is constantly playing little one twos to keep the move flowing - he gets into great positions and with a bit better finishing would of got a few more goals . he can fill the gerrard role (of course not as good ) and can sit in front to protect - he still is raw and needs work but he has ability .

Im sorry but you must being something completly diffrent to pratically every Liverpool fan i know. He harrases players? if by that you mean conceding stupid free kicks and getting barged of the ball by anyone over 5ft 2 then your right. He gets into great positions? where, tucked nicely inbetween Carra and Alonso. The Gerrard role? put it this way if Lucas reguarly played behind Torres our goal diffrence would a damn sight worse than it is now.

Im also curious by what you mean when you say that he is raw and needs work. Does this mean that if we just let drift along in out first team squad then one he will learn to be a good player? listen i like your optimism but your dreaming if you think Lucas Leiva will ever be any other than an average run of the mill player.

Skretls average and we win most of our games, so is Arbeloa, and a few others in our squad. The reason we win most of our games is because we other top players like Mascherano, Alonso, Torres, Reina and Gerrard and good players like Carragher, Riera, Aurelio and Benayoun. Man Utd win game with Fletcher, Park and O'shea in the team. A top team can carry an average player most of the time but an average player will be shown up when it matters e.g Lucas vs Chelsea
