LIVERPOOL VS EVERTON - FA cup 4th round Sunday 16.00pm ko

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Ok time to move on and get back to business. Everton's team will be pretty much the same as that's all they can put out at the moment. For us, I can see three or four changes with Agger, Mascherano, Benayoun and Babel coming into the side.

Whatever the case, the last thing we want is a replay. Lets finish their season off once and for all.

for me there only needs to be one change and that has to be the right mid how that change is made i'm not sure but here is a couple of ideas

1)babel goes on the right
2)gerrard goes on the right and mash goes in the middle with alonso

i think we need to spread the game wide and get at them yes i know what i am saying ( in that it would leave keane on the field ) but i think the boy needs games and him sitting on the bench isn't going to help him at all but balls coming in from gerrard will.

i'm not saying i'm right but i think we need to do something as we can't continue with kuyt on the wing i don't believe bennie is good enough to play there either so we need to do something

anyway my 2 pence worth :D

yeah I dont see us slipping up again against them. Like you say, they dont have option for drastic changes but we can maybe alter it slightly. I expect Masch, Agger and Caveliar to feature.

Caveliar

Carra      Agger      Skyrtl      Aurelio

Kuyt       Masch     Gerrard     Riera

         Keane

                    Torres

For what it's worth I don't want us to make changes. I just think it's what Rafa will do. We need some confidence back and I'd like to see our best team out and tw@t the ba$tards into next week.

Oh be fair, they don't often get three cup finals in a season - cup finals to them and their fans.

Agree we don't want a replay, I was hoping Derby might beat the mancs but in truth I should have been backing the mancs to get another fixture to add to their schedule. I hear they lost Evans as well, old whiskey nose is saying he'll play the same team but I wonder if he'll bottle it come the day in question.

That said, we have Chelsea coming up rapidly after a midweek trip to Wigan.

SUN 25/01 Bitters (h) FAC
WED 28/01 Wigan (a) PREM
SUN 01/02 Chelsea (h) PREM

Three games in eight days, none of them easy. Maybe we should complain about the fixtures............. eh fergie? :D

Duck Kite on the bench for starters, Babel, Mascherano, Agger (if fit) and Arbeloa back oh and Reina please and not the rookie Carveleri whats his face.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

No need to rest the keeper, giving Cavalieri a run out every seventh game or so is hardly going to keep him in form so where's the point? It just unsettles the defence

I want a real RB playing, our left side was fine, if we mirror that on the right then we should be golden.

Oh, and also, this match is VERY important for a couple of reasons that probably wont happen.

If we fail to win the Premiership, United will most likely win.
United are most likely to win the Carling Cup
United are still in the FA cup
United are still in the CL.

So, not saying that I think we won't win the Premiership, but IF we dont I think we need to be the ones to stop them in the FA cup/ CL.  Not many teams will, and I will not :censored: stand for seeing them win all 4.  No way.  :censored: them.
