There is no need for that kind of talk mate we are all fans here. And he is not the only one who thinks Babel is a waste of space. I know you have a soft spot for him but Babel has wasted so many chances to make an impression. Unfortunatley Stu was right, he lacks basic skills needed to be a top player. Skills you do not 'learn' but rather 'have' as natural ability.

No he has them they have just degraded with his time at club.

He has got worse and wors with his time here.

He had a pretty good first season no one can question that.

Its down to lack of time on pitch and pounding he gets on his confidence from never getting no time on the field.

Well to be fair even in his first season he was making the same mistakes. Running into people, giving the ball away ect....

he did the odd bit of that but the lad is 21 at that time he is still young.

He will make alot of mistakes.

But he was doing awsome stuff as well.

Its just easy to forget the good work he does once you get it in ya head you dislike him.

but also sorry I don't meen it , you just seem to know how to wind me up.

I don't love babel in fact he gets me just as angry sometimes but I know he has more to him if he would get get a good run of games I know he would prove it.

You cant keep giving him 90mins to find form, granted it isnt enough realy. He needs time to get into the games, get better match fitness and confidence. Agreed

But having said that he plays 75mins, realy poor, its hard for Rafa to justfy putting him back in again. He's not going to get a run down the left, rightly so because of Riera.. Is his best position up front? hes not gona get many chances there either. I do agree he should be giving a go down the right.... but we all no Rafas obsession with Kuyt.

I just feel he has more to offer and its his attitude that lets him down, I feel if he tried harder hed play better.

No other option. I'd rather have him on than Benayoun. Still haven't forgiven him for his shyte last week.

At 21 these days players are quite developed. Look at players like Rooney, Fabregas, even our own Gerrard, Torres they were all much better in these respects at 21. Infact good players do not do those things full stop. Maybe when they are like 14 - 17 now and again but after that no.

Remember Sissoko? They all said he is young wait till he learns to pass and did he? It's the same thing with Babel and you cannot just assume he will play sexy football under someone like Wenger because of Wengers track record either. Infact even if he was up for sale for under 8Mil I doubt Wenger would even be interested. Arsenal like to pass it around. Babel can't pass without giving it away.
