arbeloa hasnt done much and neither has benayoun... that right side looks half dead when we go forward

Kuyt has been waaay better than Keane, keane sht again starting to wonder if he'll ever have a good game in a red shirt.

Mascherano has been very poor ... pretty much everything he did except for that low cross across the manutd goal..

fck me giggs is coming on... we need to step it up a bit... i think we very much need gerrard for this second half if we are to get anything out of this !

Slight change of plan here. As the telly and the radio over here aren't covering the match (NZ were playing Australia at Rugby, NZ won) I was planning on watching the re-run tomorrow morning at 6.30 AM. Unfortunately, I've got a bit tanked up and though I absolutely vowed I'd never do it, here I am finsing out the score. I am of course in it now for the long haul, so please keep the commentry coming (perhaps I'll go for the re run around lunchtime after all). I've poured meself a large scotch, and I'm in your capable hands.

Whilst I'm here I might as well do a newkit first, and suggest a substitution despite not having seen a bar of the first half. I'd bring off Kuyt and give Babel a run up top.

Anyways, here we go so keep the updates coming.

Riera is CLASS - i'm so happy rigt now, natural tricky width - I couldnt give a monkeys if he doesnt get back - Lets see if Rafa changes him over time - i hope not
