Honestly, I would only allow organized trips (by air) and escort the fans to the stadium.
There's nothing more dangerous than wandering by yourself around town (it's Turin, but it could be anywhere else).

PS: I was 14 when I saw fights in Rimini (England was playing in Bologna 2 days after) during Italia'90 World Cup. That scared the sh!t out of me with English fans being chased in the park by locals (I was working at my parents' hotel at that time).

Unfortunate that they describe the 2nd leg as "our upcoming CLASH with Juventus "   :p

Considering how sensitive this tie has been I would of thought a less  aggresive term would have been chosen.

please be careful and fully aware for those who already got tickets for turin match, god be with you.

from icliverpool

Today Nicola Bateman, a stewardess at Liverpool FC independent supporters' club, said: "I will not be going to the game in Turin.

"I think there will be murder. You can tell some of the Juventus fans are looking for trouble. Last night went well, but there was obviously still some bad feeling."

Juventus's hooligan following, the Ultras, are among the most feared in Italy. Just two years after the Heysel disaster, they took part in the socalled "Battle of Turin" when clashes with fans from city rivals Torino left scores injured.

The situation at Juventus is further complicated by the fact there is more than one Ultra grouping.

The two most powerful are the Drughi and the Irreducibli and both have hardcore followings feared throughout Italy.

The Drughi were present at Anfield last night and unfurled a banner displaying their name when the referee blew his final whistle.

Smicer was a disgrace when he came on against juve. 20minutes in a cl quarter final and he was strolling round like he didn't give a sh*te. If anyone else was given that opportunity the other night they would've run they're guts out. it wasn't like he had to play a full 90 mins
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,

Providing LFC players come out of the City game unscathed, the lineup should be:
                 Dudek

Finnan  Hyypia  Carragher  Warnock/Traore
                 Biscan
Garcia  Gerrard  Alonso  Riise

                 Baros

Subs: Carson, Nunez, Le Tallec, Smicer, Traore/Warnock, Potter, Welsh.

With a 451 system, we need to control the midfield properly and be more organised. There is a very chance we will recieve a hostile reception.

Will alonso ready for the next round ? I read that he played 45 minutes in the reserve game which shows some good prospects. Hopefully he will then we are very strong in midfield.

it's looking that he will be ready...i think he'll be a sub again against Man city and if all is well, will start against juventus..
