It is such a shame. When fit he is a superb goalkeeper. I couldn't see him getting a look in here either once Carson and Reina signed. He was a good prospect but injuries took their toll. I just hope we don't regret selling him because Liverpool keepers have a habit of going on to great things e.g. David James in the England squad and Brad Friedal being one of the best keepers in the league.

But good luck to him.

I was quite surprised to hear we got up to 3.5 million for him considering all of his injury problems.
At Coventry he looked to have the potential to be a quality keeper but with all of the injuries he was never gonna make the #1 spot his own at anfield.

Anyway good luck to the big fella and I just hope he doesn't decide to have an inspired 90 mins against us.
