The Bolton result was very disappointing to say the least but in all honesty just who's fault was it. It would be very easy to take the moronic approach and call for Kenny's head because we lost and lost badly. Personally my take on the result was down to some absolutely horrendous errors by the defence and we were very quickly 2-0 down as a result. The midfield tried to make amends but were always up against it when we were chasing the game. Ironically Carroll had one of his better game but then again everything is relative.

It was a thoroughly sh.it day and I don't think we should overreact. Lucas and Suarez who were arguably our best players this season are long term absentees!! It is time to find some supporter resolve and get behind Kenny and the team instead of behaving like spoiled whinging bitter brats!

like most, when i saw the lineup i was actually encouraged by what i saw. looked very attacking. what i didn't account for was how we set up. gerrard and adam in a two is just suicidal as neithere will track any runners as was seen with the first two goals. gerrard was so deep he was virtually a third centre half at times.

you can argue till the cows come home about whether players are good enough. what can't be excused is the attitude of certain players out there today which was nothing short of a disgrace. i heard kenny rollocked them after the game? just off to find that interview now.

MOTD is on now.. Kenny interview coming up.

its here also,

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/16559548.stm

the espn interview is the one where he rips into the players more, The BBC one was done 5 mins later and he had had bit more time to think about what he was saying but in short any player that plays like that again will be sold.

Maybe, just maybe, it's time for Kenny to go after May. He did what he had to do at the 2nd half of last season by lifting us up from the relegation zone up to a respectable 6th beating the likes of Chelsea, MU and City along the way. But with the mostly flop signings in the summer and  questionable tactics like 5 defenders against Stoke at your own backyard, it's time to focus on the manager as well. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel he may not have what it takes to win the PL.

The expensive overpriced summer signings have let him down and could cost him his job. Let's see whether he can still repair the damages.

Calling for Kenny to go is an absolute joke and would make a mockery of the club, the fans and the owners. Whilst the performances are by far sub-standard at this moment in time, our position currently is not and a sacking of Kenny at this point would be 10 times more ridiculous than when Hughes got booted from Man City. Anyone on here who thinks that such a move is justified should seriously look in the mirror and consider going to support someone else. Personally, I don't need your opinions and the club doesn't need em either. Either get on board, or P1ss off. First time I have ever felt the need to say anything heavy in response to the WUM's and the negatives in 7 years......enough is enough.

Kenny showed his mettle last night and my personal feeling has always been, only a fool underestimates the force of him when he gets going. Don't be fooled by the affable exterior, this is no Hodgson with empty words and football cliches week in week out, no mental face rubbing here. He has stood behind the team in public week in week out and shown them the Liverpool way, it seems there are some major issues in the changing room at the moment, which is a concern. That interview left me in no doubt who will pull through.

Put the trust in Kenny, put the trust in the boot room and keep the trust in the owners. We as fans and the power of the internet unfortunately have the power to make or break almost anyone these days. As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility. All, take a step back, remember what the news was like 18 months ago with the old owners and managers, look how it is now...which do you prefer? Anyone who votes for the former is smoking crack. Sit back, focus on the team and let Kenny, the bootroom and the owners get on with it with our full support. DO NOT GIVE THE MEDIA WHAT THEY WANT HERE.....we are the only ones who will suffer in the long term.

Kenny is the boss so he takes all the stick but I don't think it's Kenny doing the coaching and picking all these lineups with players that don't suit the formation.

When Kenny came back  everybody said he favours 442 but now we seem to be playing everything but.

The defence looked bad yesterday but it was the setup of the front six that caused all the problems.

You've got Gerrard, Adam and Henderson (and Shelvey) who like a free role in the centre of the park. Maxi and Bellamy like making runs and moving about and Carroll can only play up top but has no pace.

There was no workhorse in the centre of the pitch doing the dirty work and besides Bellamy, no pace in the attack. Without Lucas, I think Henderson would be best suited to the holding midfielder, Spearing has done ok but I don't think he's up to it.

We still haven't got enough wide players, the midfield players in the squad don't complement each other and we haven't got enough pace and attacking options up front.

With Suarez and Lucas back and perhaps Downing picking his game up, if we could sign a top class winger and a natural goal scorer with pace to burn, we'd have a decent squad and the players would be able to show how good they are - if they are played in a system that suits their strengths.

strong words from Kenny after the match, which is a little encouraging...but doesn't escape from the fact that the majority of the poor performances are coming from his big money signings.

Kenny can shout all he likes...but he needs to take action and bite the bullet and get rid of Carroll for starters.

This has been an accident waiting to happen and the purple nosed cu'nt must be rubbing his hands with glee.
KK has been distracted and forced into a siege mentality where he has mollycoddled the players and defended them to the detriment of our ambitions. He should have been kicking ar'ses months ago but instead has spoilt them like a wounded parent who has had his kids behaviour and his own parenting skills savagely criticised. The conduct of those overpaid "professionals" yesterday, with the exception of Bellamy, was disgraceful. I was embarrassed by their sh'iteness. From a chuckle brothers defence, through a girly gay midfield, to a gormless Rainman attack we were Fu*king atrocious. KK and Clarke need a Fu*king rocket up their ar'ses for this and while I can say that they didnt expect such a feeble performance they must now cut this cancer out before its too late. They must take charge and drop the likes of Johnson, Henderson and Adam. Carroll needs an ultimatum and KK must bite the bullet if he doesnt respond.
We can still reach fourth, no problem, but shows like that yesterday must not happen again. Ever. Now is the time for positive action and we cant feel sorry for ourselves. Suarez is back soon, but his absence cannot be seen as an excuse for one of the worst performances I have seen in over 40 years of supporting LFC.

Sunderland, Swansea, Norwich, Wigan, Blackburn,Bolton, Stoke (who have taken 4 points of us this season) all points dropped, yet we go to Arsenal and Chelsea and win.

These wins become irrelevant when you get beat or draw with the worst teams in the league, you have to question the mentality of the team?

Perhaps the wake up call at the Reebok will now at least ensure we do some business in the window so thats a positive from a negative.

I think we have flattered to deceive all season when truth is we cannot score goals and have a poor win ratio.

Sometimes you can drift along keeping faith in players and hoping they will come good but yesterday may have been that jolt required to sort this team out and freshen up the squad.

Isn't it ironic that Robbie Keane had scored the same amount of goals as Carroll and he has played one game

KK is no different to other managers in that its a results business. His legendary status will only cover him for so long. I am seriously, totally uninterested in what the gobsh'te media says and we must back him as long as he is our manager. The challenge now is for KK to man up and kick ar'se. Defending the indefencible is no longer an option and we will see in the next few games if he can get it right. I would rather go down fighting with a bunch of kids than have seasoned professionals getting spit roasted by the like of the mighty Bolton Wanderers.
I could literally slap every one of those players (except Bellamy) in the face for that excuse of a performance yesterday.
