Yeah we are pretty poor when it comes to corners. Would have preffered gerrard attacking the ball rather than crossing it. Gone are the days when we have a corner and hyypia snaps in a goal.. Apart from torres we don't seem to have an aerial threat.

Here we are in February. 7 corners against spurs. 11 against Bolton. No goals.

Agreed, he doesnt clear the front post about 8/10 times.
Also he is one of our best players at attacking the ball.
Riera's corners from the left where much better saturday, but he is again of our better headers of a ball.

He excelled at smiting his adversaries ,but apparently he was sh*te at taking corners    Greek Gods eh

not sure how many but would be surprised if it was more than 2!!
we suck at crosses fullstop.can't understand why we have been so focused on wingers and attacking full backs to supply crosses when we are so poor at attacking the ball in those situations. same story on set pieces man marking each other.
was good to see gerrard try something different against bolton with 2 of the corners trying to square it for a scholes'y type effort.didnt come off but maybe it shows they do practise set pieces.
any way if owzat is on later, he'll give us the stats!!

But the real question isnt how many goals have we scored from corners.The question is how many goals have we conceded from set pieces or crosses in general.
