Phil, I'd just like to say that I've read your story on here and have been moved by your tribulations and great courage in meeting them. I would just like to add my own best wishes to all the others.

The sub title in this thread says 'Finally I get to say thanks'

Well I'd like to say thanks. Thank you for gracing us with your presence on this forum. Your wisdom and funny personality which was wonderful is so many other ways will never be forgotten. You are truly and inspiration. You have taught me for one to keep on fighting and no matter how bad things may be, keep thinking positive.

I didn't know you know you because after all this is only an internet forum but I feel deeply saddened by what has happened. But I think I can take what you have taught me into the rest of my life.

So thank you Phil, thank you.

RIP

YNWA

When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

I'd like to sum my feelings with this song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....search=

In the future can't wait to see
If you'll open up the gates for me
Remenice sometime
The night they took my friend
Try to black it out but it plays again
When it's weird feelin' it's really hard to conceil
Can't imagine all the pain I feel
Give everything to hear half your breath
I know you still livin' your life after death

Every step I take
Every move I make
Every single day
Every time I pray
I'll be missing you

Thinking of the day
When you went away
What a life to take
What a bond to break
I'll be missing you

It's kind of hard when your not around
Know you in heaven smilin' down
Watchin' us while we pray for you
Everyday we pray for you
Till the day we meet again
In my heart is where I'll keep you friend
Memories give me the strength I need to proceed
Strength I need to believe
My thoughts big I just can't define
Wish I could turn back the hands of time
Bust in the 6

Making hits stages they receive you on
Still can't believe you're gone
Give anything to hear half your breath
I know you still livin' your life after death
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Good Call, That songs is enough to make you cry without anything happening, but it appears its even worse when your already upset.

When you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

Hi guys, first post here.

I am a member of a few internet football forums and have been meaning to join a Liverpool board for some time. I hate being new!!

But anyway, I came here, bored on a Sunday evening as a result of a Google search to try and find out the liverpool community's take on the Riise/Bellamy incident.

I've been feeling a little down today (some personal problems). Rightly or wrongly, i found myself in this thread . I have never seen such humility, and been reminded of the fragility of life, as this mans electronic timeline of his harrowing ordeal.I was so saddened to read of the outcome.

Never knew the man, don't know anyone here yet- but I have been touched. To lie sick, in agony and still worry about Robbie Fowler getting a contract is remarkable, but it's how this football club impacts us all.
Sorry if this post seems out of place, i just thought i'd say it.

Rest In Peace Phil!

Hi Karen, I just wanted to say that my thoughts and love are with you and your family every day. I knew Phil backin the early days of school, and I am proud to have had him as my friend. He will be with me every day and everything I do.

Lots of love to you and your family.
