Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby red37 » Mon Jul 31, 2006 2:07 pm

recently reading about Robbie Fowler and his supposed 'mentors' role in assisting new/junior players in their progression within the club. and the kind of character he posesses in abundance. along with an article from Sami Hyppia in today's Echo along similar lines:

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/cgi/NGoto/153624926?-11194

had me thinking about the future in terms of what happens when Rafa and his team finally do succumb to the "lure of la liga" again, if not the national post... no need for speculation over that point, its relevance will merit its own discussion if and when it happens..

and Fwiw this topic isnt really about 'who the next gaffer should be'.... more about the coaches and the structure in place.

but im wondering about the current players and members of staff related to the club who, in some point in the future are of the calibre needed to keep this great big red ship on course...

im of course excluding anybody who doesnt at this time have any current links to Liverpool football club. except those who were already invited to join. eg McAllister, Ablett etc..

so, i put it to the forum for you to discuss, on who you consider and why. could in the future make the grade as a member of the playing staff.  (of course its purely pi55ing in the wind, no one can tell yet) but id like to hear your views anyway..

ill throw into the hat the names of Carragher ,McAllister, Fowler and Alonso even?  Gerrard ive got penned in for a gaffer at some point (though could he make it?) ... but who else do you reckon on...
