He was really dissapointing in the last 2 games, but he needs a bit more time to pick it up

needs more time but he was unlucky tonight as in the amount of times he was blown up for offside (in the wrong) in key areas was ridiculous. Linesmen were v poor, he could have had a hat trick or at least a chance of one if the linesmen made the correct decision.

you cannot question his work ethic. He ran his socks off for 85 minutes. Still think he would play better with carroll feeding off his scraps.

He's 21 and has only played less than a handful of competitive games for us.

I think he looks like a real player, if that shot against Hearts had struck the inside of the post and not 2mm to the right i wonder what people would be saying now - his movement is exceptional, has a knack for finding himself free of the defender and in space...and his running is up there with crazy Dirks! he'll score goals this year

I thought against Hearts the lad never stopped running ,and really showed the fans an appetite to succeed ...I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say
Fabio will soon be a Kop favourite if he keeps giving the same amount of effort every game .

I think Borini looks good, just needs to be a bit more clinical but he is much much better than Voronin or Kuyt, although Kuyt is scoring for fun at the moment.

i think in a few games time he'll be beging the goals in but we still need to sign a nother striker in case o finjuries etc.

My take on him so far is that he is intelligent player, i like his movement and the runs he has been making since he got tot the club. He looks like quite an opportunisitc player with some instincts for a goal and he is very hard-working. On the flip side and on the basis of what we have seen so far he isn't going to go past many defenders with tricks or out an out pace and he perhaps needs to get a little stronger. He doesn't (at this moment) jump out as a £10 million pound player BUT I think he needs time to find some confidence which you could see was lacking a bit in his game at the weekend.
