Well done to the boys!  Some of Rafa's young signings have already brought us silverware...it's looking good.

Wouldnt mind pinching Etutu, Sturridge and Richards off them!!, that 1st goal was a whopper, the boys looked nervous tonight and understandable it was the biggest game anyone of them had played in, all you can say is they did enough.

congratulations to the youth side, the game having been already won at anfield. there were several times when it looked like they were hanging on a bit tho.....still, well deserved. and in the end we all got to see glimpses of 4 or 5, id say, definate possibilities for the 1st team out there, in the shape of hobbs, antwi, barratt, roque and the quiet anderson.

up to the seniors tonight    :buttrock

We, of all people though, shouldn't have thought the game was over at 3 - 0. It was a terrible mistake the boy's made and I guess Heighway had a tough job stopping complacency creeping in, the lad's looked like they thought it was over and just wanted to play the match out. They never really showed the quality football we know they can play, on the other hand I thought the team defended brilliantly under immense pressure.
