great leaving present though. He's given so much to that youth team and helped produce so many good players.

Made up for the kids they totally deserved there win over the two legs and to win on penalties at the Stretford ends will just add to there delight.
Threlfall was brilliant tonight not just because he got the winner, he made so many crucial tackles and won nearly every header.
It is a shame for Heighway and its obvious there has been a falling out, probably to do with Rafa wanting to take a more hands on role in how the acadamy is run etc.
At least he gets to go out on a high as winner of the youth cup 2 years running.
Big praise he gave Jay Spearing in the after match interview saying he could play in the first team now. Not sure about that like but the lad does look like he has the ability, maybe not the physique just yet though.

Couldn't watch the game coz i'm stuck at work this evening. Did Astrit Adjravic (can't spell his bloody name) play tonight? He looks like he will be a player.

How good was that!  Well done lads. You've done Steve Heighway and yourselves proud. Certainly one or two might well break into Rafa's squad and go on to make LFC proud of you as well.

Great performance tonight and deserved winners of the 2007 F.A Youth Cup. Stick that up yer ar5e fergie!

Yeah he played mate, centre midfield and played well i thought, nothing too flashy though just always comfortable on the ball.
Plays the right pass nearly all of the time, he was subbed in about the 70th minute and didnt look happy, but did well in the time he was on and probably was looking tired when he came off.

:censored: brilliant result.........great to see that tow years in a row.there more or less the same players as we had last year so next year some of them mite get a chance, they must be good as when we won it in 96(i think) there was michael owen and carragher playing and david thompson, some very good premiership players!Linfield looks very good and i was impressed with spearing and threlfall

Get in there lads!!!!!

Made up for you!

And Steve Heighway - LEGEND!

Thankyou for the class you have produced, the service you have given, and the way in which you've done it.
