"If" Everton do get forth place what do you good folks think the damage will be not only money wise but Pride wise aswell and do you think it will have a serious knock on affect throughout the whole club.

Please only answer with your thoughts on the affects this would have on the board room downwards i.e supporter pressure, and not weither Everton will finish fourth or not :;):

It wouldn't be a disaster. It happened a couple of seasons ago as well. We'd get over it.

But I don't care if they do get 4th place. We're gonna win the Champions League. Look at last season. Monaco and Porto got to the final. Two unfancied teams. If we get a favourable draw, there's no reason why we can't.

If we win the Champions League the NEW RULES work like this. Liverpool would be invited by UEFA to defend the Champions League trophy at the EXPENSE of the team that finishes 4th in the English League !

Now wouldn't that be nice

At worst we'll qualify for the UEFA Cup this season. What would people rather: getting knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter/semi-finals (as we probably would, let's be realistic), or winning the UEFA Cup, which is easily achievable? Finishing in the top four and competing for Champions League glory should not be the be all, and end all.

Does 5-4 ring any bells?
