Still trying to figure out what the f*ck was he trying to do with the ball for Palace's first goal. Still think that there's a top player in him somewhere, he's still very young, but at the moment he's another player who just doesn't THINK! Might be on par with Moreno in stupidness at the moment. Only me has unfortunately got him spot on.

It was the same as his clearance at Everton. The guy just doesn't read the game properly. Not having a go as he is one of my favourite players, but he is guilty of over playing his hand. Bouncing ball in the box = kick the f*cking Sh*t out of it and chase it down.

For me Can's display yesterday was his most complete since joining the club  ,he read the play like a seasoned pro ,and looked immense in the middle .

The lad’s a work in progress and will probably find himself starting from the bench a bit more as Klopp makes his move in the transfer window and Henderson returns from injury.

Lots of promising signs, but still a bit too inconsistent to be starting every week. However, as things stand, Klopp has little choice but to use him due to our lack of quality in the middle of the park.

Starting to look the part as a CM in the past 5 games. Having been shifted around a lot at Leverkusen and last year at us, he's finally getting a run of games at CM. Because he acts like a leader on the pitch and looks older than he actually is, people often forget that he is a 21 year old who hasn't even made 100 senior appearances in his career.

He's still got immaturity in his game but he is progressing well.

Yep, there are creases in his game that he needs to iron out but at 21 he's got a big future ahead of him.

The improvement over the past few games has been unbelievable. If he continues at this level he'll be one hell of a player for us which is something I couldn't see a few months ago.

Absolutely fantastic display today against Palace. As close to a perfect performance as you'll see.

Didn't see it myself to be honest. Was OK but nothing spectacular IMO.

Him I can live with though. However, if come next season, we keep going with Henderson and Milner as our main midfielders we might as well write the season off from the start. Those two are the epitome of averageness.

The guy is immense, he is not perfect, he often over runs the ball, but his engine, passing, tackling is second to none in our side, best CM at the club at the current time

Can is a fantastic player and for me has been one of our best this season

I think when Hendo got his injury he played with Milner and Lucas and it didn't really flatter him as he was doing 2 people's jobs so was caught out of position

Henderson should start to worry...Can is going to overtake him in the pecking order with his energy and passing from next season.

This i whole heartedly agree with, do you think he is too young or a wrong choice for captaincy also ?

Bit too young, but has all the attributes of a box to box midfielder who will lead by example.

He's been excellent in the last 3 games in the deeper role. His game has developed so much since Klopp moved him to CM permanently in October. Still plenty of room for improvement but he has matured a lot. Think it will be him plus a new signing next season at CM.
