laza- go on soccernet.com, they have a gamecast which is a pretty good digital representation of the match as it goes.  not very exciting, but better than nothing.

We had an awesome 2nd half, Rafa managed to turned it around and Baros was all over the place. Could have a couple more but we always looked in control. Even Biscan managed to have a sniff (only a sniff) at Man City's goal. Great half and with Alonso coming in soon, things MUST look up (soory not for you Finnan  )

Good result from the team (apart from Finnan). Baros performance in the 2nd half was very encouraging indeed. On a couple of occasion, it took 4 City players to stop him. Can still improve, especially his first touch...
Stevie...I am running out of superlative for this man. Hardly put a foot wrong the entire match. Well taken goal. Super leadership. A player with qualities like him will be a bargain at £80M.

That is how we should play it, on the ground not by pumping hinh and hope the strikers latch onto and make something out of it. Our strikers are not built for that kind of game. I guess old habits will take time to die.

I agree that Finnan was not up to it, he chose to shoot when he should have squared to Stevie, and on another occassion when Cisse played a good short pass to him in the Man City penalty area, he chose to attempt a square when he should have directed it at goal.

Thank got for "calamity" to strike James yet again and Stevie's good follow-up presented him with the chance to slot the winner.

Even Biscan had a chance... I just am totally not comfortable with Dudek. Anyone agree with me?

1 real save the entire match and he fuc<ed it up...no other further comments on him.

Those who watch the game must have noticed that we had awesome pace when we move forward/counter-attacked. When the players get more understanding and comfortable with each other, this should be the asset that Rafa should exercise more often than he did today.

Yes, good passing and movement especially in the second half and our strikers should get quality service on the ground, not with high hopeful balls for them to chase.

Since the transfer window is still open, who can be a more adequate and reliable 'keeper other then Dudek?

Too bad I didn't get to see this game, but from what I am reading it was a good game. With Alonso and Garcia we will become a threat to Arsenal and Chelski. Every club has a flaw, including us so you can not expect us to be perfect but we are solid none the less.
