Why would Warnock be going the other way St ?
Neill is out of contract at the end of the season so could sign for free. Isnt the reason he didnt sign on deadline day because Hughes asked for Warnock ? So Rafa said no thanks we'll wait until he's out contract.

That was the impression i had anyway.

they'll be in a right pickle if he doesnt...ive heard the lads hungry for success though, and wont mind jumping out the frying pan into the deep-fat fryer, so all being well.....he could end up being the missing ingredient.

:D

He's meant to be a dirty get though, he likes a bit of argie - bhaji!!

what i do know is that warnock will almost certainly be sold to somebody in the window anyway. i know for a fact that the bluesh#te have made enquiries about him.

Would be nice but I think Tevez wants out of English football.  He doesnt like the defenders.

Cheers, ConnO'var.  Mascherano would be a good addition to the squad.  Can't see him going any cheaper than he would this January.  Tevez might be a girl but is quality.  Argie and Brazillian defenders aren't shy about kicking people.  He'll get better.  Maybe not at West Ham though.

They were only at West Ham to sweeten them up for a deal with that Iranian fella. Now that hes not going to be taking over the club they will both be off if not in Jan then most deffinatley by the summer.

And that would mean that if we did want them we would have probably have to fork out a load in both transfer fees and wages not to mention im sure there would be other Enlighs clubs interested in them if we could get in that price range,

Although I like the idea of players being involved in take over talks.

If Aaron Lennon does leave Spurs it wont be for less than 15mil. I can see him developing into a player of that calibre quite easily. He has great pace and skill and knows where the goal is as well. He seems happy at Spurs though.

If we could lure him to Anfield it would have to involve another player and we could hold a trump in the fact that he worships Harry Kewell being an old Leeds boy. I cant believe Spurs got him for less than a mil though.

Even if he is that means :censored: all. Theo Walcott was supposedly jumping fr joy when we won the EC. And i think Robbie Fowler was an Everton fan.

Heck I even think I heard Rio Ferdinand say he used to be a Liverpool fan when he was a kid.

With these sort of player you need a combination of money or being in the right place at the right time. Spurs to theri credit have managed to get alot of decent young English players in recent times. Shame about Andy Ried though, i thought he looked pretty good. (He did on good on Football manager for me anyway :D )

He looks promising, nothing more, I'll judge him in two or three seasons, I've seen many a young player have a fantastic start as a player and then it goes pair shaped. Jamie Redknapp is a fine example. I find it funny how Lennon shows a bit of consistency and all of a sudden he becomes a great player one of the best wingers in Europe. What he done to prove he is a great player? Apart from showing signs of promise? Nothing, that’s what he’s done.
