Cisse's got the heskey disease! - .....not impressing so far.

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Well having seen Cisse  at the home games so far. Ive not been impressed with the 14m pound signing.
apart from the fact he missed 3, possibly 4 good chances V WBA on saturday, I hope hes not getting the Emile Heskey Disease. he falls over easily too.
Also, most of the goals are coming from Midfield, with Stevie G being top scorer, so i think the welcome party is over for Cisse and he needs to get his skates on. Same goes for baros.
I know its only 4 games plus freindlies, but we need to see more.

I was expecting Thierry Henry mark 2.

so far, not so good!

well so far heskey has 2 goals and cisse has 1 people are putting to much pressure on him cost he cost 14m if there wasn't alot of pressure he would be scoring for fun.

I suggest you go back HERE and read that again.

Yeah, its far too early to judge Cisse. The pace of the game in france is way slower than england, new club, new country, new manager etc etc.Lets give him till christmas at least.

I'm not surprised that this is comming from Hustler, critisizing players already aren't you Hustla?

Same things were said about Reyes when he arrived at Arsenal nine months ago, but look at him now. Top scorer of the Premiership at the moment, looking strong.

It will take time to adjust, things don't happen over night .

Cisse is not a finished product yet. I do think his pace and finishing were overrated and his price way too high. This was a Houllier buy, and we must only pray that he does better than Houlliers other big signings (Heskey and Diouf)

Could easily happen. Cisse looks the type of player who could remain as an unfulfilled potential.

I think if the side develops and starts winning more Cisse will stop feeling the pressure, he'll start scoring.
I always thought it would take him a while to adjust to the premiership. As for Henry comparison Hustler, Henry wasn't exactly setting stadiums alight in his first few games..

Reyes struggled getting used to the Premiership, it took him 9 months to play at his best, not even at his best.

Henry had a bad start when he first started.

These things take time Hustler. You can't expect a player who has never played in the Premiership to get used to the gameplay in 4 games. Being a bit unreasonable there Hustla.

A.B. I wouldn't bother trying the softly softly approach with Hustler mate . He's so far up his own backside and entrenched in opinion he won't listen ???

Lets just say Hustler has developed a "reputation" over the time he has been here. Believe me that WAS soft :D

I'd elaborate but Hustler loves the attention too much ???

Basically he needs someone like me to point out he's talking utter ****** once again and proving with every post how much of a clueless pr**k he really is.

Expecting Henry mark 2 to come straight out of the french league and adapt after just over three games worth of minutes?

What an idiot.

It took Pires well over a season, for the whole of his first season he looked useless, now look at him. Get a grip ya stain.

If he's still playin like this next season then fair enough, but to slate him this quickly into the season is just damn right stupid. Did you even see the game on Saturday? He had a decent game, played his part in the goals and could have scored 1 or 2 himself. HE HASN'T EVEN PLAYED 4 FULL GAMES!!!

Give the lad a break for christs sake.
