I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

You can tell by the comments in this thread that he'll be missed :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

in all fairness to the guy he was a true professional when he was here despite the stick he got from some fans. he should never have been put in that position though and it just shows how far we have com in a year that this time last year we were signing him and konchesky (shudders).

i wish him all the best.

If the deal for Poulsen and Cole go through, Kenny has single-handedly managed to get rid of the dross that Hodson polluted our team with. I'm an atheist but am beginning to think there is a god!!! :buttrock

to be fair, Roy had a shoe string budget and signing Cole on a free and Poulson for 4 million seemed OK business at the time.

i'm sure Roy wouldn't have signed either if he had the resources Kenny has now.

I am being fair. Look at Kenny's track record and then look at Hogson's. Woy was hired by a couple of cowboys who knew (and didn't care to know) fuk all about football. How long did he last? Explains eveything

I am being fair. Look at Kenny's track record and then look at Hodgsons. Put there to appease the masses by a couple of cowboys who knew fuk all about football and probably sat and hindered the words of the likes of Andy Gray. You couldn't make it up :D

my point is Roy wouldn't have signed any of the players he did if he had 10s of millions to spend. I'm not defending the dross we signed, just highlighting that things have changed a lot over the last few months and it's a tad unfair to think that Hodgers 1st choice signings would have included Poulson, Konchesky or Cole

Why are we talking about Roy still? He was shabbite, I thought we had moved on from that.
