He was less sh.it than Lucas - both were dominated once again, neither contributed going forward , neither gave any protection to the back four , neither kept possession enough and both gave away silly fouls , both nowhere near good enough .

Did you actually watch the game ? It didn't end nil nil because Poulsen golden boy protected the back four , it was because they missed chances , Merieles cleared off the line - Poulsen didn't protect a blade of grass out there tonight - he can pass the ball 5 yards lovely but it's so slow and laboured

I watched the game, he was good in midfield, he showed robust tackling, he passed well and he was not dominated in midfield with Lucas (who I thought was solid like he always is).

If he was dominated then we would have the lost the game easily

totally agree mate, both never good enough, but your comment about them giving away silly fouls that put the team under un-nesassary pressure is totally un-acceptable for me. tonight was a classic example. an for Lucas to nod his head in dis-agreement with the discisions against him really p1ssed me off an showed yet again his lack of discision making of his own when it comes to tackling an awarness of the play around him!

How more games is this guy going to play and be totally inept before Manager realises he isn't nowhere near good enough to be playing in the prem .

Less than the six million we wasted on Lucas, but that's another story.

Lucas may well be not good enough to start every game but currently Poulsen isn't good enough to be even in the squad let alone be on the pitch - his is offering nothing to the team .

Lucas isn't good enough, period. The fact that Rafa bought him, the fact that he was picked for the Brazil squad, or the fact that he's 23 matters not a jot. Earlier, you described them both as "extremely sub-standard". You were spot on. For a club like Liverpool they fall well short of the required standard.
