You know what, Alonso had a brilliant first half, and was brilliant in the first 20 min of the 2nd half. Thats a positive.

To be fair Riise should be able to put that ball away with his right foot, no need for the silly header.

We are being laughed at, who are SOS going to protest against now

Come on guys. Chin up...

I thought we played really well, far better than Chelsea. I thought they looked really tried just like Arsenal did. There was no way they where gonna score. Its just bad luck the way things panned out. Riise was just trying to defend and it was just bad luck that he scored an OG.

Thing is, we can afford to rest key players at the weekend. Chelsea cant. Man U are not gonna let them win on Saturday. The league is at stake. So all key players will be played.

We have 8 days to rest players like Torres and Gerrard so bring it on.

Have faith.... Its something I have. My wee Irish league football team, Glentoran, had not beaten Linfield on Boxing day in 18 years and this year we did it!! So always have faith as the impossible can be done.

BRING IT ON
COME ON THE REDMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It beggars belief four years into Rafa's reign and rubbish like Riise is still getting on the pitch. I'd rather Hyypia had come on for Aurelio, Carra go to RB and Arbeloa LB. It was just a dreadful attempt to clear the ball, why he went to head the ball that was so low I'll never know.

BUT it isn't over yet, an away goal at SB and they'll need two to beat us. And they have to play the mancs this weekend, we don't have to win our game and so should go to SB with players fresh and look to hit them early on. It is a case of "if only"s, if only Torres had hit his shot first time instead of taking it on, if only his shot late on had gone in, if only Aurelio hadn't tweaked his groin, if only Riise had been sold in the summer, if only, if only.

Maybe it's for the best, another European Cup final may have clouded too many's judgement on Rafa's position. Perhaps once the horse is truly dead we'll know what we are flogging.......................
